I cannot imagine that a hotel experience could get any better than this. The sights of Istanbul are incredible and so staying at the Four Seasons was the icing on the cake. This is a magnificent hotel; I truly could not find fault with anything as service and accommodations were superb. The location is perfect and close to everything you’d want to see. The main thing that sets the Four Seasons Hotel apart from the competition is the level of service. Not only were we given a free upgrade to a deluxe room with a view of the Aya Sofia, but the staff could not have been more attentive to our needs. Fruit and water (particularly welcome!) were provided at regular intervals throughout the day, and a late check-out was no problem at all. I can only really echo the previous reviews that this hotel is excellent in terms of location, decor and particularly service. Because it is quite small it also feels less corporate than many chain hotels. Couldn't fault it at all.

Unbelievable luxury. Perfect accommodation. Perfect location. Outstanding cleanliness and charming staff. Antiques everywhere. Beautiful decor. Splendid food. Hotel would satisfy Miss Fussy from Fussy Town. No pool but it does not matter. Costs a fortune but worth it all.

The Four Seasons Istanbul was hands down one of the top luxury hotels we've stayed in. My husband and I travel frequently and try to test out all the top hotels. My husband and I spent three days in Istanbul and decided to splurge on the Four Seasons Hotel. Our high expectations were met in every category--comfort, service, location, food and room. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything about the Four Seasons, Istanbul was lovely. We arrived by taxi on a drizzly Saturday afternoon, exhausted from our trans-atlantic journey. The doorman promptly made change for us to pay the taxi driver and discreetly checking our luggage tags, greeted us by name. My wife and I just returned from a short break in Istanbul where we stayed for just 3 nights. I booked the Four Seasons after reading the rave reviews on this site, which made my expectations for the hotel even greater. Could it really be so good? Well, yes. The staff were exceptional. Very attentive, courteous, helpful, but not at all overbearing or condescending as at some other 5 star hotels. This is without exception, every single one of them was brilliant. We recently returned from four days stay at the Four Seasons Istanbul and cannot stop raving about the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and located steps from the most important sites in Istanbul: The Blue Mosque and the Aga Sofia. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the staff truly makes you feel a guest in a good friend's home. In fact, the doorman would greet us each evening with a "welcome home."
