Emine Sultan Hotel

We stayed at Emine Sultan Hotel in the October 2008 and loved it!!!! The room was small, but well decorated and very cosy. Most of all, was very very clean. The location is just perfect, near all the major attractions. Has a great view of the Blue Mosque, from the terrace. But the best of the hotel are the people who work there. I think part of why we fell in love with Istanbul was due to our stay in this hotel. The location is phenomenal, and the rooms are quaint and clean, but it is the view from the breakfast room and the incredible staff that make this hotel a special place. Ozen and her team took wonderful care of us. Lovely Hotel, centrally located for all the historical sights in the Sultanahmet district. Rooms beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with fabulous views. Family run, which accounts for the knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Huge breakfast selection, including lots of home-made goodies. Highly recommended to all!!

Emine Sultan is a great hotel/Bed and Breakfast. The management and the staff is extremely helpful. The property is very well kept and the location is very convenient. The staff makes you feel like you are staying with friends in Istanbul. They are knowledgeable on where to eat, how to get to a certain place and other common information. The location is perfect. A 2minute walk from the big spots in old town (Blue mosque, Topkapi Palace, Haya Sofia) but still very quiet and tucked away behind them with beautiful views of the sea. It's a great boutique hotel and the staff were amazingly warm and helpful. The home made breakfast was great as well. Ask for a room with a view. Ozen, Mehmet and the rest of the staff were great! I ve spen my honey moon this august 2008 and i m very grateful to the management team who was very nice and friendly the room was perfectly cleaned every day and nice price are ok compared to the others i ve visited all around i recommand this hotel who has a wonderful vue from terace over the bosphore and blue mosque

Staying at this hotel was a lovely experience. The rooms were comfortable and the service was VERY friendly. The hotel had a fabulous view of the city. I would return again with friends and family!

If you need someone to rest your weary your bones, after taking in all the sights in Istanbul, this delightful litlle hotel is for you. It's relatively new and the rooms are charmingly decorated. My best experience in Istanbul was twinned with my worst. I can say that the owners and staff of the hotel have re-affirmed my faith in humanity after the terrible experience of getting my purse stolen in Istanbul was followed by the utmost kindness of the family who run this hotel who did everything in their power to help me. We found ourselves in Istanbul with no hotel reservation at 7:00 at night. We literally stumbled on Hotel Emine Sultan and were delighted with it. Our room overlooked the Sea of Marmara and was very comfortable, although a bit small. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on their rooftop terrace. The staff was accommodating beyond the call of duty. The hotel is recently opened so that all appointments are quite fresh and the place is immaculately clean. We had a wonderful time there.
