Ekin Hotel

we have stayed in the ekin hotel 6 or 7 times and have always had the best holiday. everything about the ekin is great. the staff are brilliant and work such long hours to keep the guests happy. the management are also brilliant. we have had some great times there and hope to in the future we can not recomend the place enough if you can go there.

After a rather long tiring journey from the airport.. my partner and i were greeted and welcomed by the friendly staff in the early hours of the morning. Our baggage was taken care of as we were shown our room. This friendly and caring attitude continued throughout our stay. It became apparent that the hotel deserved a better star rating than stated. The food was fine and the facilities including the pool were good.(After all this is not the Hilton).. we arrived at 2am in the morning and were met of the bus and the cases took of us straight away and made welcome. rooms are basic but clean. shower was a nightmare as it was so small. food is good at hotel. didnt like breakfast as it was a selection of turkish foods. if you wanted a cooked breakfast you had 2 pay for it. even if you only ate toast you had 2 pay 4 it. not stated when we booked our holiday. pool is quite deep even i could not stand in it and i am 5 foot 4ins so not child freindly for young children. air conditioning is charged... more

wot can we say but brill brill brill, 4 of us went on this hoilday and the hotel is excellent value for money, the rooms are clean staff are great and the food is cheap and good as well, we will def be back next year, if your going you will have so much fun there and get a great welcome from the staff, its in a very good location as well to the beach and bars, beat hoilday we have had and we meet some other lovely people there we were like a big family.

we have just returned back from this dreadful hotel. On arriving at the hotel at 6.15am in the morning, we realsised that we were not on their list, so we had to produce our travel documents to prove that we were defintely staying at this hotel. we were finally located a room, by this time we were very tired and miserable. Me and my Husband went to Turkey on our own (no Kids) for the first time ,we got a bargain from Thomas Cook and stayed in the Ekin.We didnt expect much and when we first arrived after the long journey and walked into our room we were dissapointed BUT after being there for a couple of days we totally changed our view.Yes the rooms are basic but the staff OZZY, RICHARD,BRIAN,HILO all made this holiday as well as the people we met, its in a good position to be able to reach everthing. Just got back from spending my 30th birthday in the hotel ekin and wat a week it was. Ozzy, brian, richard, hyro, elvis and more made are week absolutely brill. The hotel is very basic but in an excellent location within easy reach of beach front. The hotel is family run and very friendly towards all who stay, food is excellent and you will never go thirsty with ozzy the barman, he also has the odd card trick to show. BRIAN, OZZIE, RICHARD, HYRO & LITTLE RICHARD!, remember these namesbecause you will fall in love with them all!!. The Hotel Ekin was the best laugh of my holiday after a day it feels like home. ask hyro to dance (looks like a chicken,) throw Brian in the pool and wet yourself laughing at ozzie the barman who has the best English sense of humour! i stayed at the ekin sept/oct 2005, i wasnt expecting much from this hotel as it is a 1* hotel which we thought would be fine as we dont spend much time in the room so facilties dont matter as much. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were friendly and helped us with are cases etc, as we did not eat in their restaurant many nites the staff became rude and unfriendly i would say that the only member of staff that made an effort for us was aussie the bar man. Just returned from our holiday in Marmaris. Had a great time and the Ekin hotel was great. The staff there really make you feel at home and are very helpful. We were virgins to the Ekin experience and can totally understand why so many people return year after year. A big thank you to everyone at the Ekin to making our Turkey holiday a holiday to remember xx
