Daphne Hotel

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in Room 502 with views to the sea and the Blue Mosque. What we particularly liked about the hotel: * Great location, close to all the tourist sights * Friendly staff * Reasonable price * Delicious breakfast included * Clean, nicely decorated rooms * Clean, modern bathroom * Quiet at night * 6th floor terrace with views to the sea the Blue Mosque * Free pick-up at the airport What more can I say! We'd stay here again without hesitation.

My mother and I stayed at the Daphne after a long cruise and were treated just like family. Nothing was too much for the staff to do for us. The food was surprisingly good and we had a beautiful view of the mosque nearby and the Bosphorus. It is down a hilly, narrow street just two blocks from the Hippodrome and a little further to the Blue Mosque. Maybe 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. A great location and a great small hotel. Stayed at Daphne for our honeymoon in Istanbul. Great location for Sultanahment, Istanbul - literally 3 mins away from the Blue Mosque with a view of the Bosphorus. Place looked like it was renovated recently with comfortable beds, new showers/bathtubs and new sinks. Rooms/bathrooms are decent size but not big. All parts of the hotel were clean. We loved this little gem of a hotel! We walked in off the street because we were not satisfied with our hotel next door. They showed us Room 502, top floor with extra space and fabulous views! The service was excellent, rooms were extremely clean, and all the staff were helpful and kind. When we return to Istanbul, we will stay again!

we had a great stay here. very helpful and hospitable staff. our room was clean and well furnished and had beautiful views over the bosphorous. hotel is located in sultanahmet area and is only a five minute walk away from main tourist attractons. if returning to istanbul we'd definately stay here again

We stayed at the Daphne for a 3 day period, the hotel operates a courtesy car service from the airport and it certainly needs it as even local cab operators seem to have difficulty finding it. having said that however, the hotel is situated walking distance from key attractions e.g Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Kumkapi (super fish restaurants). the rooms were very comfortable and the staff could n`t do enough to make your stay satisfactory. If You ever want to spent some days in Istanbul an need a calm place to get some rest from this huge city, you should choose the DAPHNE HOTEL. It lies in the historical part of the city in the center. The service is very good, also the meal. Rooms are very clean an have a nice view over the bosporos. I would like to spend some more time here, but we had to leave.

We stayed at the Daphne for 2 nights. Although it is somewhat difficult to find with all the narrow streets and one ways, it was worth it. We were greeted by a very friendly manager who spoke wonderful English. Every employee went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, was that the towels were not as plush as I would like. I naively hope that every hotel will have the Turkish towels! This is my 4th time to fly to Istanbul , because my lover is here . Every time before I come , we try so hard to find a nice place to stay . Finally , we got it ! Yes , Daphne Hotel is the best one ! My parents and I stayed in Daphne Hotel for 3 nights in January 2007. We all loved the hotel. It locates in a quiet area in Sultanahamet area, Istanbul's classic tourism area. The hotel has everything you need during your stay in Istanbul. The hotel is very clean and beatifully decorated, the rooms are classy and clean. We had a triple room on the 2nd floor. Seaview!
