Asiyan Hotel

We have just returned from a week at The Asiyan Hotel and unfortunately felt the hotel did not live up to the description or reviews on tripadvisor. It's a shame as the hotel itself has a lot of potential but lets itself down with the poor attention to detail. The best feature is by far the pool area with it's large garden surround containing lovely seating and a hammock for two. We are a family of 4 which includes two teenages, one a 17 year old boy and the other a 14 year old girl. When we arrived at the Asiyan we thought it was a little too quiet for us and was in a poor location along unmade back streets. However after a couple of days it became clear that we had made an excellent decision to stay at the Asiyan. We have just had the most relaxing 2 week holiday ever - the hotel is gorgeous, rooms are clean & modern & VERY comfortable and even though its only a 5 min walk to town (all the bars, restaurants, shops, etc.) it is just so peaceful all day & in the evening. Wonderful pool & garden to laze around in & nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The perfect place to relax in the sun. Highly recommended - and in a stunning part of Turkey.

I have just returned from an incredibly relaxing week staying at the Asiyan Hotel. The hotel is situated very close to the town centre, and the wealth of fantastic restaurants that Kalkan has to offer (someone told me there are around 200 restaurants in the centre of Kalkan - the most difficult decisions we had to make all week were which ones to choose!). After finding the Asiyan on the very much overpriced Tapestry website we fell in love the property immediately. We booked flights through Flythomascook.com and contacted Baran (the hotel owners son) directly via his website. He organised a taxi for us too. This way we paid around half the price Tapestry had quoted us for a week. The hotel is beautiful but worth paying the extra for a suite (ours was 205 and one of the best in the hotel). My husband and I have just got back from a week in Kalkan, staying at Asiyan. The hotel was perfect, small and friendly and absolutely immaculate. For us the friendly staff really made our week fantastic. They were so attentive and although they didn't speak that much english we managed to have lots of fun with them whilst having late night drinks at the bar. If your looking for an intimate hotel in prime location in Kalkan, this one is perfect. Only a short distance from the Kalkan nightlife yet in a secluded spot overlooking the bay, the Asyan Hotel is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Asiyan was perfect choice for our holiday. We stayed 6 days even we didn`t plan so long. The owner Mr. Baran and his family were great people and tried to do their best for their guests. it was really friendly environment.. Nice green garden; big pool; good room service and good breakfast... I stayed at the Asiyan Hotel in Kalkan with my Girlfiend between the 13th and 20th August and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel has only been open since June and I found it via these forums and decided to give it a try and it paid off. We arrived at 3.30am and shown out suite which was new, bright and airy. Went last week to the opening party at the Asiyan Hotel. Superb food and one of the best pools in Kalkan. Great bar and fabulous music, played quietly. Bedrooms are all good size and charmingly decorated . Public areas excellent. Open to the public (non- residents) for drinks, meals, swimming and staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and all amenities.
