Hotel Isla Mallorca

Pool area and spa bit are really nice, but oddyl, when you get to your room it appears as if the ground level has had a modernisation. The room is more 80's style. The rooms are not bad, they are just a bit dated and the balconies have no furniture to sit on. Although when I was leaving there was a delivery of chairs - so you may be lucky if you are staying here now as this could have been what was being delivered. for the rate we paid for 2 rooms that included breakfast, this hotel would need to be pretty awful for me to complain. I didn't need to!!! this hotel has a spa with indoor and outdoor pools. a good quantity of sunbeds around the pool, and lots of seating for drinks etc. buffet breakfast was included in the price and it all looked modern/new. except the bathroom which was a little tired. the rooms had balconies with great views and were quiet. the front of house staff all spoke very good english and were very pleasant. a taxi to the town... more

Hotel has an old and a new building. The old rooms have a balcony, but make sure you're not on the lowest floors facing the parking lot. From the 5th floor you'll see the sea if your room faces the right direction. The rooms in the new building are nice but without view and balcony. The pool is ok but no view (and cold!), the bar is ok, and the breakfast offers most you want. The area feels like a residential area and you can walk to the center in around 20 minutes. Great hotel set a little back from front but well worth extra walk /taxi into town.Rooms verry good we were in new block all mod cons you need ,pool area exellent and breakfast also verry good.We found staff to be verry friendly and the spa area is another plus for this hotel.

Stayed here for a weekend in March. Room comfortable for two people but a little on the small side. However it had all the amenities we needed and we were hardly in the room anyway. Decent breakfast included. Buffet style with as much as you could eat. Good spa facilities. New outdoor swimming pool being built but as we were there at a weekend the noise of the work did not disturb us except for the Monday morning but even that wasn't bad. My friend and I chose this hotel as we were looking for a well deserved long weekend away. We saw the spa attached to the hotel and thought it would be perfect. The hotel itself was lovely - clean and friendly with the all important fridge to keep drinks cool. We had breakfast included and there was a good spread - especially for the cost. We decided to park our car in the underground car park and made arrangements with Reception on check-in. However, we nearly ended up with both car and driver crushed as the receptionist pushed the wrong button and released the gate while our car was awaiting entry to the car park. We had to physically hold the barrier back while shouting at the receptionist to stop the gate from moving any further. Just enjoyed a 5 day city break at this hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful in all departments. The breakfast buffet was excellent and also enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the restaurant. It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Palma but there is a bus stop nearby and they are very frequent and cheap. The rooms are comfortable and we were on the 8th floor and had a magnificent view of the harbour. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here recently and found the it to be a pleasant modern hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice was excellent. Had several meals in the cafe/bar which were also very good. Hotel is located in a nice quiet area within a 10 minute walk of the city centre

Provided you approach via the coast road, rather than the ring-road, it's not too hard to find. Parking is in an underground garage, which cost us 10Eur. There is street parking available, but the area is not brilliant, and a few hundred yards from the hotel could even be described as 'rough'. The hotel itself is modern and spotlessly clean. The outdoor pool is a little small but did not get crowded during our stay.
