Arch Palace Hotel

Fantastic Goreme. If you go to Turkey don't miss Capadocia. If you go to Capadocia don't miss Arch Palace Hotel in Goreme. Arch Palace is not a hotel is your best friend place. The rooms are the bigest i ever sleep in Turkey, are very clean, the breakfast is good and the terrace is breathtaker. If Arch Palace is you best friend place Mustafa (the manager and owner) is your best friend. You pay for a room and get a friend guide for free. Don't miss the best place in Turkey.

My friend and I had come in off a long and horrible bus journey to find that the hotel room we had booked in a different hotel, had been given to someone else, so we were very angry. We were told to go to the Arch Palace instead. Mustafa came, picked us up, helped us into our rooms and calmed us down, just by being friendly and helpful. It was 3 nights stay in Cappadocia. After seeing some hotels around we stepped in Arch Palace hotel. Not a chimney, but very comfortable, nicely designed place. (BTW, it was even better to stay in "regular" hotel than in cold, dark cave room) Mustafa, the hotel owner, is very kind. He speaks English well, so Mustafa may assist you in planning your trips around, suggest places to eat. His restaurant terrace has one of the best views in Goreme. So with very reasonable price, it is highly recommended place to stay in Goreme.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Mustafa's hotel and can highly recommend it. It's well located in Goreme, a few minutes walk from the village center, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It's set part way up the side of a hill and has a great view over the valley. We had the room with an enclosed balcony which was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. After a week travelling through Turkey for my research on Byzantine art history, my last stop was Göreme. After a tiring trip and despite the importance of the monuments there, I was planing to spend only two days in the area. Wow... just a wonderful place to stay. Mustafa and his family are very friendly, and they promise to make your stay absolutely worthwhile. Mustafa is more than willing to arrange day trips for you, and he picked us up from the local train station and took us all the way to the Ankara airport at the end of our stay. Goreme is, of course, a beautiful place and Arch Palace is located slightly up the hill overlooking the city (yet only a minute and a half walk to downtown). İ have to agree with the majority of the previous reviews in saying that the Arch palace is a truly great place. İt is central, reasonably priced, and the owner Mustafa will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy hıs hometown. Upon arrivıng ın Goreme wıthout a reservation but with a tip that Arch palace was a good bet, we asked the tourist office to call the hotel and Mustafa promptly arrived to pick us up. Wonderful Hotel. I've stayed in many low priced hotels in Turkey and I will go as far as to say Arch Palace is by far the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are spotless and the bed sheets smell fantastic! After lots of grubby rooms this place really does feel like your staying at a mates house in their guest room. My husband and I have just returned from 2 weeks in Turkey, (don't delay going there, amazing place ). The highlight of our trip was Goreme staying at the Arch Palace with Mustafa. This Hotel offered large clean rooms, great comfortable beds and a view to die for. The hotel is decorated in old antique Turkish rugs which add warmth and comfort to your stay. This is our third time in Turkey and I just had to write and commend the wonderful hospitality shown to my husband and I in Goreme. We stayed at the Arch Palace Hotel which is run by a charming Turkish gentleman called Mustafa.
