I just came back from Istanbul where i spent the Easter weekend. We stayed at the Hotel Apex boutique hotel, which is tucked away in a quiet street in Sulthanamet. On arrival, we were offered a local cocktail. The hotel is clean, quite basic but the beds were very comfortable and we had a very nice bathroom. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We are two couples and stayed three nights at this beautiful hotel. We have to say that the hotel has very good hospitality, nice and friendly staff and it is very clean. Also we all loved its style and decoration. The hotel is very close to Agia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi so you enjoy walking inside old town, visiting the above. There are also near some nice shops with souvenirs and cafes with nargile and tea. Very close to tram stop for the city. Anything you want the staff is always willing to give you information.

I live in Moscow, just returned from Istanbul and has already started dreaming of coming back . Along with other reasons, there was the right choice of the hotel, the Apex Hotel Historical, recently opened in the very heart of Istanbul, the Sultanahmed Area. I recently made a trip to Istanbul and thought I would try the Apex Hotel Historical after a recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad I took their advice. Firstly, I was very impressed by the airport transfer and what a wonderful hotel. Fell upon the Apex in November 07 when soaked and bedraggled a previously booked hotel was full and took us to this one where we were received and welcomed handsomely. It was indeed like staying at home - with a few catered comforts - but generally left to spend your your time as you will. Very obliging when services were required and practical advice for getting around. BRIDGET IRELAND My self and some friends stayed at this fab hotel for 3 nights and i had to let people know what a great place this is to stay from the time we got there until we left the staff were amazing they were on call 24 hrs booking restaurants telling us the best places to see /room service / nothing was a problem rooms were spotless breakfast was lovely we can highly recommend this hotel we will be back

I stayed in the Apex Hotel Historical in January 2008. I had an excellent stay. The rooms are really beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful from the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm and welcoming.The breakfast was very good.The position of the hotel is perfect, it is in Sultanahmet, very close to Blue Mosque and San Sophia. We are a french family.( 2 little kids) We enjoy to stay to this hotel. Its a brand new young and sympatic team. The room are new and nice. We were one of first resident of this place. Apex Hotel Historical is a small lovely hotel in Sultanahmet, very close to Blue Mosque and other sightseeings (Ayasofya, Topkapi Palace, Yerebatan Sarnici, Grand Bazaar) are in walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful, I got answers to all my questions and much more. Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast very good. Actually, my room was cleaned already while I was having breakfast! There is a great view to the sea from terrace bar. Public transportation also close to the hotel. Can recommend to everyone.
