Urgup Inn Cave Hotel

We enjoyed a most wonderful charming experience in this small family run cave hotel. We stayed in the chapel which was wonderful experience and was treated warmly every morning with the traditional turkish breakfast outside under the grape vines gazing upon the enchanting scenery of the area. We were treated with warmth and kindest that you dont get in the bigger hotels. I stayed for 5 nights at the Ürgüp Inn Cave Hotel. It's a lovely place. Hidden behind the entrance is a lovely well kept courtyard where breakfast is served. The staff is friendly and a big plus is the free use of the internet. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean, with plenty of warm water. Although conveniently situated near the centre of the village, the hotel is very quiet place. The hotel owner, Mr Ömer Nair, can give you all the required advise for daytrips in Cappadocia.

We six friends from Mumbai- India, checked in on 17th. Oct.'07 for a 3 nights stay at the Urgup Inn Cave Hotel. We found the place really cosy, clean, and conveniently located. Mr. Omar, the owner, is really a warm, friendly and helpful person. He made our stay at his hotel comfortable and memorable; We would definitely recommend Urgup Inn Cave Hotel to anybody visiting Turkey '- Cappadoccia.

I stayed 3 nights and had good experience. This hotel was located near center of urgup and convenient for travellers. The hotel owner was very kind and the room was clean, comfortable and nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed to stay in Cappadocia.

we stayed 5 great night at the Urgup Inn Cave Hotel. the place was beautifeull, the rooms were comfortable,clean and had al the services you need. the manager of the place, mr. omar, is nice and freindly that gives the guests all the need with a smile. he knowes everybody in urgup and he can arrange all you need to have a good trip in capadocia. in omar's cave hotel you can feel an othentic capadocian atmosphere in the rooms, in the garden, when you get your breakfast and when you meet people. we enjoyed our stay... more

I enjoyed my week at the inn. I was in the chapel - I loved the old stonework, the lovely handmade carpets and the little courtyard where we enjoyed our breakfasts. The inn actually has hot water - not all small places have auxilliary water heaters and I was very comfortable - the inn is kept fresh and clean and in good repair. I think it's excellent value and very charming service. I will stay again the next time I visit the area. Cheers! Eva

the lovely stay in your hotel and warm hospitality

This small 6 room family run hotel is a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and clean and the atmosphere very friendly and helpful.The owner Omar Nair is a trained and qualified Cappadocia guide and knows the terrain like the back of his palm. though there are no great views from the rooms the ambience is cozy and with breakfast and free use of the internet thrown in make this place great value for money.A supermarket is 1minute away and all the eateries are 5 minutes away. I would repeat my stay here !

Stayed here for 2 nights. This is a family home converted to a hotel. The rooms are clean and cosy. Not a very fancy place but good for budget travellers. Food/Breakfast was average. There aint any good views from the terraces or the rooms. The owner of the place is really nice and helpful.
