what can i say. great place - the only drawback being it was out of season, but we knew this.
lets start by telling you some of this hotels attractions. 5 a la carte restaraunts(italian, mexican, turkish,fish and asian), cinema (proper one with recentish films showing), 10 pin bowling (again a proper one), video arcade - of a good size, aqua park with 6 slides, theme park (dodgems etc), 6 swimming pools, indoor heated pool which also goes outside, squash, table tennis - 3 good tables, sauna, solarium, massages etc etc, its own in house street with various takeaway options, pizza bar, mini golf, archery, shooting, volleyball, small shopping arcade, nightclub, coffee shop, I better stop there cos i am going on a bit.
dont forget the hotel is built within a short stroll on the beach (with no other hotel in site) to the ruins of side. 5th century roman settlement with its own ampitheatre. this place is so innocent and it is not really marketed. a bit surreal compared to other places such as you can wander around the place without even an fee to go in you walk on ancient marble structures without any security etc. The turkish people have not yet exploited this site!.
going back to the hotel -its 5 star, and compared to others in turkey deserving of it. the people there are nice and its definatley nothing like a butlins - this is a very nice hotel.
the bad points : 1/ as with any all inclusive hotel the food can be repetitive (but i would imagine this wouldnt be so if all the al la cartes were open (only 2 of the 5 are open in winter season). 2/ lack of english people - astonishingly this hotel does not feature in a main tour operators brochure. thomsons, thomas cook, first choice what are you doing!!!!!.most of the staff however are ok and the hotel does indeed cater for english people. 3/ a lot of things shut - this is our fault as we went out of season so we knew this and this will obviously not apply in april when everything re opens.
the weather was good and side town (again a short walk along the beach or a bus ride away from outside the hotel) is a nice shopping town with restaraunts and shops near both the ruins and the beach.
who will this suit - families with kids of all ages (2-18), couples wanting to relax, older people, well everyone really!!
Holiday companies pull your fingers out and include this hotel for the people of the uk
