Seven Hills Hotel

We felt like family at the Seven Hills! We were made to feel right at home. Bulent, the General Manager, is a delight to work with. The Presidential Suite that we booked was perfect and our every need was met. A wonderful place!

I stayed at the Seven Hills hotel with my significant other during the middle of September. It was our first trip to Turkey and so we were a bit nervous without knowing what to expect. I should start by saying that the Front Desk Clerk (Bulent) was just about one of the most helpful hotel employees I have dealt with. He made sure that we had a taxi waiting for us at the airport and upon arrival checked us into a fabulous suite. Overall, we were satisfied with the Seven Hills Hotel. The day before we arrived, I booked the airport transportation. I agree with the other reviewers who said to just take a cab instead. The Seven Hills charges 70 euros round-trip for airport pick-up and drop-off. A regular cab is much less, provided that you are not cheated (which happened to us once). One does often wonder about the validity of on-line forums but, the consistent descriptions of the rooftop restaurant are accurate. There isn't a more picturesque site to drink a beer in Istanbul (even if it costs YTL6 for 33cl). We stayed there for four nights in clean and simple (3* really) rooms. The included buffet breakast was fresh and varied. The staff were attentive. I wouldn't bother with their Limo service as a normal cab should be YTL20 and can comfotably take 3 people. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 days in September and enjoyed it very much. We did not get the room we reserved, but the next day we were switched to a room with a terrace. The staff is extremely friendly, although there is some pressure to use their services. The rooftop restaurant is fabulous for its views; the food is good. The location of the hotel is perfect to see the old city. I would recommend Seven Hills to anyone looking for a charming, reasonably priced hotel in Istanbul

We stayed five nights at the Seven Hills and really enjoyed every moment. The location is perfect - we spent almost three days exploring Sultanmet alone. The roof top view is out of this world. My husband and I decided to make my reservation at the Seven Hills Hotel after reading some positive feedback over the Internet given by guests who had stayed there, but after we made all the payments we felt a bit insecure about it. My partner and I stayed there one night before taking a cruise out of Istanbul. Seven Hills has excellent staff (so friendly and helpful), nice clean rooms (ours had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the Bosphorus Sea; great shower and air conditioning, tile floors, big comfy bed), and easily the best roof top view in the area with the sea on one side, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia on the other, and the rest of old Istanbul all around you. This hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, had large rooms and bathrooms (for Europe), and had a lovely breakfast with fabulous views from its rooftop restaurant. It has the best location possible - just a couple of blocks from Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque. We, too, had the manager set up a pick-up for us and the cost was $40, but you always pay more if they are scheduled to meet you anywhere in Europe. We had also asked for a 1 day guide. We arrived at the airport after flying 17 hours from California to be met by a driver. He made us wait for 40 minutes waiting for another part who never showed up. The cost of that ride was $40.00 which at the end of our trip we found out that the taxi ride was 1/2 that amount. We arrived at the hotel at 11:15 p.m. Upon arriving at the reception area, there was a woman complaining to the front desk person about the excessive noise on her floor and how she couldn't sleep and needed to be moved.We finally got to our rooms both suites which we... more
