I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 2weeks in June 09 and we had a fantastic, night. The hotel is at the top of a hill which many people are slating, but the balcony view is absolutely incredible and worth climbing the hill twice a day for!
The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and had a good selection. Evening meals were a bit of a hit or a miss. They are all very well prepared and presented but not to everyones tastes. Fresh salad, pastsa and tomatoe sauces were available every night though so... never went hungry! Deserts were pretty good too.
The rooms are spacious, well-kept and comfortable. The maid's speak absolutely no english whatsoever, which was at times challenging. But at the end of the day it is spain, so the fact she doesnt speak english isnt a big deal really.
The reception staff are polite but didnt really seem enthusiastic about answering queries etc. Most speak fluent english and spainish which was good aswell.
I woke up one night because of a loud group of people coming in, i think they should have been told to shoosht because it went on for a good hour but they wern't, which was slightly disapointing.
Senior fernandez greets you every breakfast and dinner and he's lovely!
Don't buy anything from the bar by the pool, its extortionate. Sweets in magaluf are really overpriced aswell so bring lots! I would definetly go back to this hotel :)

Before I went to this hotel I read some of the reviews and did not want to go!!! There were 3 women booked for a long weekend ages ranged from 28 to 56. We were expecting it to be really bad but it was great. The hotel is in a fabulous setting, near enough Palma Nova and Magalluf to be a good place to stay no matter what your age but I would say if you have difficulty walking forget this hotel. Reception was clean and staff pleasant. Our room was in the annex small with 3 beds but clean and the beds were comfortable. We had clean towels every day, which is something I have not always had at the 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The food was fantastic, salmon, pasta, pork, spare ribs, of course salad but lots of choice. The staff were friendly and if you asked them nicely would do what they could to help. The views from the bar were great, on a night time sitting with a glass of wine(or 2) what more do you want. The sound of the waves hitting the rocks, the moon on the sea and good weather. The only down side was as we were in the annex the main hotel doors are locked at midnight so to get to our room we had to go into a passage get a lift walk through another passage and down steps. It was reasonably well lit but if one of us had gone back to the hotel alone it would have been awful getting to the room alone. In all this hotel is a place I will go back to with my husband. This was a mini hen party for the bride, bride's mother and her aunty, just 3 women relaxing. Well worth the money we paid.

i have just come back from hotel florida and its the worst place i have ever been. somebody with a key to my room let there self in whilst i was out at night and stole my suitcase with all my belongings in it. i went as a group of 18 and i was the only 1 robbed but on many occasions members of my groups room were left open by the cleaners. i confronted the manager who did absolutley nothing about my case. i highly recomend u DO NOT stay at this resort!!!!!!!!!! the hotel was situated at the top of a massive bank. the food was horrible and staff were very very unhelpfull. the rooms were tiny and had no fridge. overall the holiday was okay but the hotel was disgusting.

Just back from a 10 night holiday in the hotel Florida.
The hotel itself is pretty basic but the view from the balcony is out of this world, unfortunately we were on the 6th floor which has the smallest balcony and a small metal guard (most have a wall). This would have been fine but as we had our 3yr old daughter with is it was a bit too scary to sit out in. The views of Magaluf to left and Palma Nova to the right were lovely.
The staff are very friendly and helpful (the girls in the restaurant were a bit miserable) but Laura and Isa in the bar were great and always went out their way to come over and speak to us.
The 'hill' is the killer for this hotel! After a night out the last thing you want is to have to climb a steep hill. If that doesn't bother you then this hotel is great.
Stayed in to see entertainment twice - terrible! My daughter liked it though. Spanish dancers and Mexican dancers.
Be warned if you're going as a couple you will probably have to share your table-this is allocated when you arrive and you have to sit there every night. There was 5 of us so we were ok but a lot of the people around us were sharing but they seem to sit you according to where you come from so at least you won't be sharing with the French!
Food - ok
Staff - excellent
Location - in a great location if you don’t mind the hill
Views - second to none.

I have visited this hotel twice now and plan on going there again this year with my wife and two best friends.
I think for the price this hotel is extremely good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel always has a nice clean and fresh feel to it which I feel is an integral part of the accommodation that I choose to stay in on my holidays. The rooms are smart and neutral without any offensive furniture or colouring and the view from the balcony gives you a stunning view across the bay of Magaluf.
I would say the hotel is generally a quiet place apart from some nights where entertainment is provided on the very bottom floor but the sound is barely audible unless you are right above it. An all round excellent choice for a great holiday in Majorca.

My boyfriend and i went for 10 night stay half-board and we paid £680 for the two of us. It was our 1st holiday as a couple so we had very high hopes and on arrival we weren't disappointed. The hotel was pristine and believe me I'm hard to please. The staff were very welcoming especially the personal greeting you got every morning / evening when entering and leaving the restaurant. The food was faultless, everything you could imagine was there, glad i went on a strict diet before hand so i could eat to my hearts content.
Our room was cleaned 'every single day' by the time we got back from breakfast by a lovely maid called maria - Fresh bedding and towels throughout our stay, fantastic! We stayed in room 503 and not being biased but think it was the best room in the house he-he.
As we went slightly off peak we had no problem with getting sunbeds by the pool, but as lovely as the pool was we found the private sun terraces more to our luxury. especially the bottom one which gave you the option to dip in and out of the gorgeous warm inviting sea.
Ok so this hill.. yeah its a bit steep but after your 1st attempt you'll become a natural. i managed the hill in 4 inch heels so its not that bad! other alternative you can always catch a cheap as chips taxi - problem solved!
We were very impressed with the hotel's location right in the centre but out of the lime light at the same time if you know what i mean. The beach is just minutes away and what a lush beach it was. we spent the majority of our days catching the endless rays there- higher a pedalo too it's great fun.
All in all an outstanding place to stay and don't listen to any negative reviews take my word for it we cant wait to go back .
