Comfortable room, helpful staff
Great location in Urgup in easy walking distance to everything you need. Computer available with Internet access in the lobby. Most importantly, the room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable. No air conditioning, but the room stayed pretty cool in the hottest part of summer (I had a regular room, not a cave room). The owner and staff were all extremely helpful and accomodating. They helped me find a tour at the last minute when the company I had booked did not show up. When I wanted to extend my stay...no problem. They... more
Exotic and contending
Urgup is an ancient -town -city -village in Cappadocia, Turkiye. The surrounding hills are filled with cave drewllings and the summits are filled with minereted Mosques. The palace from the out side is unpretentous and does not prepare you for the interior. The staff is friendly and unaskingly helpful. The breakfast hall is sumptuous and the fare tipically Turikish-fresh and different. The cave room I was assigned was surrounded by a patio filled with trees and flowers and unusual STUFF. The room was pleasantly cool even in... more
Great little hotel
My friend, who lives in Cappadocia, booked a cave room for me at the cappadocia palace. it was my second visit to Turkey, and my first time to urgup, where i spent a week. I absolutely loved it. adem, i guess he is the owner, is very friendly and helpful... he helps with booking tours and answers any questions you may have regarding the hotel, and the area in general. he always greets guests with a smile. i didn't really wake up in time for breakfast, but i heard the breakfast buffet in the restaurant there is great. . . breads and... more
Cappadocia Palace a delight!ful experience.
My husband and I spent 4 nights in this small hotel in central Urgup so that we could explore all the many sights in Cappadocia. We liked it so much, we spent an extra night. We want to recommend this delightful hotel and its excellent staff who made us really welcome in every way. The hotel rooms are charming and there is a good selection of cave rooms opening onto a pretty courtyard with low tables and turkish cushions and patrons of the hotel used this facility extensively. The reception staff were particularly helpful and... more
Lovely, homy and worth every penny!
If you are looking for a place in Cappadocia which provides nice and clean rooms, all the help you need to explore the area, and, most important of all, a resonable price. Then , this is it!! Their cave room is very cozy and stylish. It is clean and relaxing in every corner of the hotel. The location is good. It 's only minutes of walking to get to the supplies and grocery in town. I like to give special thanks to the staff because they've been so friendly to us. And they feed us with yammy Turkish... more
An Excellent Find
Cappadocia Palace is such a wonderful place to spend a few days in Cappadocia. Due to an unexpected snowstorm our stay was extended for an extra couple of days. There could not have been a better place to be. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff very accommodating, especially Adem Aslan. He went out of his way to make the extra time most enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, friendly hotel in Cappadocia. A great value.
Friendliness and cleanliness
This place is wonderful. Only stayed for one night but the room and the staff are amazing. Adam at the front counter was a gem going out of his way to help us. All the staff always had a smile on their face and the timings and scheduling are very reliable. The location is great because it's not too noisey but only a 3 min walk away from the town area. I would definitely reccomend it to backpackers who wish for an affordable, clean, reliable and safe hotel.
Unique and Friendly
We stayed at the Capp. Palace for 5 days and it was great. We liked the wireless in the rooms especially. Adem Aslan at the front desk was very helpful and nice. It is beautiful in the cave rooms and the breakfast area is an old church. We recommend it. Nice price for the stay.
An Unforgetable stay
We stayed 2 nights in Room 304 on 23rd & 24th May 2007. The room is very spacious, clean smell despite being a cave room. The hotel was quite secluded yet so near to various amenities like the town market where we can find fresh fruits & Turkish delicacies at normal price, I meant not tourist kind of price. We do not need any fan or air condition as the temperature of the room is naturally between 20-22'C & they have good ventilation system. The staff who attended us, namely Yousef, Ahmad & Sonar was exceptional. The hotel is very... more
Average Hotel
We (three friends of Spain) stayed at Cappadocia Palace in November/05 for two nights. We bought a two days trip in Cappadocia in Istanbul, and we decided to make the trip by plane (good idea, because the flight only took one hour to kaisery -i'm sure it's not right spellt). Cappadocia Palace is like a good backpacker hostel... We had two cave rooms with jacuzzi in them (nice). The rooms and the rest of the hotel places were very clean, and the heat was all day on (which was nice, because it snowed all... more
