Midtown Hotel

This is a small nee hotel with a very good location near Taksim Square. The rooms are small mut very clean and confortable. I think this a is good option for Istambul as it is very centrally located in the new part of the city and close to most attractions, Of course you dont see the Bosforus, but the money you earn is substantial!

My husband and I wanted to choose a good, not too expensive hotel for our 3 day stay in Istanbul. Midtown hotel seemed to be worth of trying judging by its photos and other people's reviews. I often read reviews where people moan and complain about things beyond their (and sometimes the hotels') control and then give a bad rating as a result of this. Sometimes there's a valid reason(s), but sometimes people are so pedantic and picky I don't think it gives the hotel a fair and accurate rating. Hotel is nice, rather small, in the area packed with other hotels next to Taksim square. So great location for walks, restaurants, 10-15 min ride to old part of Istanbul with Blue Mosque etc. The hotel has rather smaller rooms, (still enough to fit plenty of luggage, golf bags and infant cot :-)), . Hotel is very clean, quite newly furbished with decent modern decoration. Staff here was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast. It's not 5*, but for Istanbul it's worth every penny.

the location is perfect. just steps from texim and istiklal cadassi. beautifull area whit out any noise come in to the room. rooms are very clean but small with modern decorated. i spend nice time there

We spent four nights in August. Very good hotel: very good rooms with nice bathroom. Rooms are decorated with modern style with all commodities. Breakfast is good, but not at same level than rooms. A lot of choice but quality should be improved. Hotel is well located in a small room beside Taksim.

We stayed at the Midtown hotel after Greece with gate1 travel. Overall, a good hotel. It is in a great location that is close to many restaurants and shops and the hotel itself is in an area very pedestrian friendly, rare for Istanbul. Moreover, there are internet cafes, grocery stores and other shops in the area for tourists. The staff was friendly, although very few speak any English and those that do are not proficient. Steps away from Taksim, heart of Istanbul. It's new, clean and chic. Had many trips to Istanbul and saw many hotels including hip ones. I can easily say that Midtown(4 star) is both a special class business hotel and a hip hotel with an affordable price. Perfect staff, perfect food.

The hotel is very centrally located.- Taksim area - very new, clean and nice area in the centre of Istanbul. 5 minutes away from the hotel you reach the main shopping centre with loads of shopping opportunities.
