Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia

In a word EXCELLENT (but pricey). Spacious room. Decoration is superb. Quiet. Comfortable. The bathroom is as good as it gets. Breakfast buffet is great in terms of variety, presentation, quality.

stayed there on the new years eve with my girlfriend. since its a newly built hotel the rooms are very stylish and luxirious. staff very friendly and rooms perfecty clean! only advise for tourists: this hotel is very far from the city centre. it is located in the asian side of istanbul. you will need to get a cab to get to the city(or very soon the metrobus once completed). getting to the city by cab takes 20min when the roads are empty however because of the heavy traffic it will take anything from 45min to 2hours during the day!

This place is serenely beautiful, flawless service and calm, smiling employees. Rooms are very comfy with plenty of light and great beds, nice amenities (including mouthwash, which is a real plus!) Lots of construction going on around the property so it will be a prime location soon. The pool areas are beautiful and the fitness center state-of-the art. All professional. All fantastic. I stayed six days at the Marriott IAsia stanbul at the end of July. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the Guest Relations Manager Elif Dogan. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The hotel has got a very nice spa with hamam, steam bath etc. and three pools (two outdoor and one indoor pool). It's a bit far from the main tourist attractions, but the daily boat trip from Kadiköy to the European side of the town is very nice. Very urban setting, requires a cab or car to get you to most things. Rooms and bathrooms nicely appointed. Good breakfast buffet. Pool and Spa excellent. 20 minutes from Sobiha Golsen Airport (spelling) by cab (45 Turk Lira). 10-15 minutes (with traffic 20 minutes) on motorway to Kadycoy (spelling) Ferry Station (15 Turk Lira). Boat then takes 20 minutes to the Golden Horn's Eminonu Ferry Station (1.3 Turk Lira). Boat ride is a great experience. Stayed at the Marriot for 3 nights and was an enjoyable stay. The check-in process was quite effecient and generally very friendly staff. The hotel is brand new, with the new smell in many parts of the place...to its advantage this also means that you will have the newest brightest and biggest of experiences. Stayed in a standard room which was pretty luxurious..even by Marriot standards. As a fan of Marriott hotels I always try and stay at them when ever I can. I find them warm, homely and consistent and when one travels as much as I do this is important. This new hotel did not disappoint. The room was large and the beds as comfortable as usual! I stayed for three nights and ate in the restaurant once and had room service twice. Only stayed a couple of nights but from the previous comment was not overly looking forward to the experience but I guess the staff have all been on a training course as all we met were happy and courteous. As previous not for tourists but if you have business on hte asia side then its great location.

We were stayed for 10 days. This is actually conference hotel, not for tourist because it's far from istanbul tourist objects. Tipical marriott's room. Good room service, tasty, garnish and quite delicious. Front desk was not welcome, also the security man. The housekeeping was not very clean, leave glasses dirty and sometimes my toiletries empty, my table dusty. The lamp frequently off for a second. They have no standard service, in my 10 days, I received only 4days newspaper. Yes this is brand new hotel with poor service.

We booked Marriott Hotel Asia for a weekend trip Istanbul. We like Marriott and the Hotel was just new so we booked a room for 4 nights. Quite expensive, but we had cheap tickets so we decided to book it. The first impression was not so good. The frontdesk personell was not very friendly. No warm welcome and extra info as we are used to from Marriott. The room was very nice. There is a shopping mall of Carrefour directly in front of the hotel .
