Myself and my partner will not be returning to this hotel. Weather amazing, beach lovely, hotel not at all good.

Room was dark, decoration old and basic, shower poor and water murky. Maid came and cleaned room everyday, but it needed it! VERY LOUD MUSIC played opposite hotel until 4am every morning, impossible to sleep. Don't know how young families cope. The entertainment team seen to get a good reception from young families, however, we just thought they were very monotonous, very fake and highly irritating especially when they are constantly nagging you to join in...ok that may be their job, but they just didn't get the hint that some people just are not interested.Hotel seems to be in a fairly 'rough' area with several nightclubs at the end of the road...if you want a chilled out, nag free holiday do not come here! Food ok but not alot of choice, stick to the bread!!! Definitely not for us. good luck .

What a fantastic holiday,...

What a fantastic holiday, weather was fabulous, hotel was great, the people were really friendly and the entertainment team are out of this world. They work so hard and make sure everyone is looked after and included. They work all day and most of the night. THEY ARE FAB. The food got a bit boring towards the end of the first week but there are other places to eat. The hotel is great the maids change your bedding and towels everyday. My daughter is 12 and met lots of new friends and my son who is 15 enjoyed getting his tan. We are looking into booking for next year already..

The only good part of this hotel are the entertainers. They make everybody feel welcome and work so hard to entertain all age groups. All the staff are very friendly although, some, a little too friendly. The rooms are basic and need some decoration, especially in the bathroom where the light is very dark and the decoration is quite old fashioned. Some rooms overlook an all night outside nightclub. The music from this is very loud and has a lot of bass on it. It gets turned off at half past 4 every morning and kept me awake until then every night/morning. The food served here is not really varied and whilst we were in the hotel dining, health inspectors came in because one guest had fallen ill with food poisoning. This, you can make your own conclusions about.

We came back from belair 2 days ago and really want to go back from the moment we arrived at the hotel we loved it .we were greated and took up to our room by staff. We settled in straight away and the entertainment staff introduced themselves to us.At the welcome meeting we booked 2 excursions with our very helpful rep phillip we went to the light and sound show and the african dream they were a lot of fun .other days we went to the beach and into hammamet we liked it but prefered the hotel. We had our tea at about 7.00 ish there was a lot of choice but it got a bit boring by the second week. Then after tea we went and got a seat outside by the stage and our entertainers would come and talk to us. Then there was entertainment every night and i was in the drag show and got pulled up to the stage to do belly dancing thanks to the entertainers Zico and Aldo and my family thought it was hilarious . the entertainment was a lot of fun even though the snake charmer got bit only a couple of days ago when we were there so we have been told he wont be coming back.We absolutely loved the holiday thanks to all the entertainers Zico,KaKa,Aldo,Max,Mido and Zo especially Zico we miss him and the hotel very much and will be returning.

Have just returned from the best Tunisian holiday that we have had.

Have previously been to Skanes twice but that is nowhere as good as this.

The hotel is basic, but the area and staff more than make up the difference, will definately return

We have just got back and that...

We have just got back and that was the best holiday I've ever had!!! The staff were so friendly and the entertainment team were fantastic. I've always been against going to the same place twice but we are already planning to go back next year. The pool is lovely and the rooms are basic but cleaned every morning (who goes on holiday to spend it in their room anyway)? There is not much option for breakfast meals especially if you are a fussy eater but the evening meals are nice. The entertainment team really are amazing, they work all the hours god sends and only get paid commison but are never tired or grumpy and are always making people laugh. Thanks Aldo, Zoo, Kaka, Mido and Max you all made are holiday special!!!

well we've just returned from here on sunday all i can say please let me go back..... it was the best holiday we've ever had, i travelled with my partner and 2 children, 12 & 7. the hotel was very clean and reception very welcoming when we arrived, i wasn't looking forward to going away due to all the bad reviews i had read but in my opinion they are being far too picky, breakfast was served from 6 til 10 and plenty of choice, cereals toast plenty of eggs, scrambled fried boiled and omelette!!! olives feta pastries, evening meal was plenty of choice always either chicken or turkey, fish beef and not always chips, lots of salads fresh bread homemade soup. food was always piping hot and never short of supply, the desserts were to die for, my god they were yummy!!!! there was always fresh fruit for the healthier option but in my view im on holiday and diet for the rest of the yr so i blow out on naughty foods!!!

pool was very clean and well maintained, snack bar at pool very nice for lunch time, the paninis are very tasty, and only £2 with chips on the side. happy hour starts at 12 til 3, this is only in summer season i think as it only started last thursday. lots of activities to do if you dont fancy lying round the pool all day and children are always welcomed to join in, but if you dont fancy it theres no hassle

last but def not least the brilliant entertainment team, these guys work 14hr days and dont get paid very well but they made our holiday what it was, they put all the effort into making you feel happy and enjoy your holiday, kaka, aldo, max zoo, and medo are brilliant entertainers the evening entertainment was very good and meant that we could relax with a drink as the kids were always happy, something different every evening, we didnt go into cheers bar as i think this is more for couples or single people this bar is open until the early hours, our room was overlooking the pool so we had a great view of the sun setting over the hills, we are just an average normal working family who like to get away on holiday try different places but this is the first time we didnt want to come home, we enjoyed it so much we are going to book up for 2 weeks next summer for our family honeymoon,

finally just like anywhere you go on holiday we reccomend the use of a safe in reception, its only 15 dinar for a wk (£7)

Just come back from a one week...

Just come back from a one week holiday full board and we have to say NEVER AGAIN!!! We got ripped off as soon as we got off the plane. The taxi cost us 100 dinars (about £40-50) to get to the hotel.

The hotel itself was basic but clean enough, maid service every day including clean towels and the people were very friendly. The food was terrible though. We booked full board and wished we hadn't. There was only myself and my husband who had booked this. The lunchtime menu was not buffet style as we thought and until we complained we got what we were given, which usually meant Tunisian salad for starters which comprised of mainly cucumber (which I loathe) then it was usually chicken, done a variety of ways, once even being called 'duck' oh apart from the day they served us two fish complete with head and eyes. Well that went straight back. I have to say that after we complained they did ask us what we wanted but still had little choice, if any. The evening meal was quite limited but at least we did get a choice and the waiters were always friendsly even if the service was slow.

There was entertainment in the hotel every night, usually by the same four lads who did the day time entertainment but they did give their all and seemed to enjoy their job. They did look a sight on the drag night though.

Outside the hotel, well, this is the main down side. As soon as you got outside the hotel there were young men pestering you to go into their shop and buy something, anything. They would kiss and cuddle you and go on and on until you felt like punching them. There wasn't anything worth buying in them any way. You can't purchase any alcohol in the shops so if you like a tipple in your room then buy it before you get there.

The beach wasn't very good either, each hotel has their own area but ours looked like a run down shack with a few plastic chairs on it. Oh they did run a carpet down to the beach, I presume so you don't burn your feet. The path to the beach looked like a piece of derelict land.

There are only 2 British bars there, one was closed for 3 days because of the trouble that had gone off. The other was called the Shakespeare and was British run and the meals were reasonable. This bar was our life saver and they ran happy hour (2 for 1) every day all day.

The whole resort looked like it was run down, many places were boarded up, maybe it had been nice once but its not somewhere we will ever be returning to. Glad we'd only booked one week.

And just a final point about the airport. Make sure you exchange all your dinars for english money as even the security staff managed to rip us off by keeping some of our money back for 'allowing us' to return to the bank to exchange the money. They do take english money in the airport shops and cafes. Good luck to anyone who has booked to go here, you'll need it!

This hotel was brilliant, i'm a 26 year old married woman and I travelled with my sister and her 8 year old child. From the moment we all arrived the staff couldn't be freindlier. The rooms were basic but very clean, the maid cleaned the beds and the towels everyday. The food was great I enjoyed everthing, there was plenty of variety even to suit the most fussiest eaters.

What made the holiday was the entertainment staff, Zoo, Aldo, Nedo and kakah were fantastic. They put on a show every night and entrtained the children and all the residents all day. They really were amazing.

I would recomend this hotel to anyone, especially couples and families the only problem is hammamet it's self. The beach is so disgusting!! There is camel and horse droppings everywere, you can't move for the amount of poo.... and the smell is so over powering it physically makes you sick.

Luckely if you stop in the Bel Air there is so much to do you don't need to go to the beach. There's a indoor pool, outdoor pool, hennah tattoing, bowling, pool tables, games through the day and for an extra charge any amount of massages or pampering. You can also hire a T.V for less than £1.50 per day which came in handy when the weather was slightly chilly.
