Hotel Dionysia

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. The brochure says set among olive groves - it is actually set within a new complex of apartments and the beautiful sea views they advertise are only visible from the terrace bar. The man that manages the pool bar is adorable, which cannot be said for the irritatingly awful manager. The rooms are small, with the only sea view that can be glimpsed between the new build apartments. There are better places to stay in Kalkan with bigger rooms and better breakfasts.

We have stayed at the hotel, my mum and her friends go there year after year, its fantastically relaxed, cheap and the stafff couldn't be more helpful. I can't understand the previous review. Ahmet the manager is excellent friendly and is not a little guy, he's about 6" 2! so I can't help but thinking that they have got the wires crossed about who was in charge! The hotel arranged the airport transfer of about 2 hrs from Dalaman, it couldn't be simpler. The roof terrace bar is great in the evening to have a drink whilst the sun... more
