Brilliant stay at this hotel. I booked for 8 people to stay half board but on arriving upgraded to A/I. For an extra £18. per cpl per day it was more than worth it. Very freindly staff right through the hotel, excellent food and good local produce drinks. The rooms are very clean, any problems we had were sorted out within an hour. The beach is only a 5 min walk, shops bars and restaurants literally minutes from the hotel.
Would definately return to this hotel, but not with Jet2.com as a 3 and 1/2 hour transfer from the airport to the hotel meant that our 1st day stay as this very good hotel was lost.

There was 18 + a baby in our party. I booked this holiday through Low cost beds. From the moment we landed to the flight on the way home I have to say it was one of the best holidays I have had.
We were picked up at the airport by a 30 odd seater bus, just for our party, and taken directly to the hotel.
The hotel was very clean with daily maid service, the pools and bars were great, and the service was wonderful. There was a large variety of food to choose from and the drink was very good, even though it was the local beer, wine etc. (we were all inclusive).
The beech was very close with good services to get you to other resorts, although the walk to Cala Bona was worth taking.
Although this was a German based hotel, and I believe this is why it was so good as the German's are very picky, and some of them, no sorry the majority of them were miserable, it became a talking point with us and did not spoil our holiday one bit.
There were no towels on sunbeds (but just to make sure we brought our St Georges beach towels with us) or anything like that and in the end they had to at least smile at some of our antics.
The facilities were great with 1 large outdoor pool, a smaller children's pool and an indoor pool with jacuzzi and a gym, which were all of a good standard. There was a pool side bar and another bar inside where you could listen to the dubious entertainment (with a German bias). We made our own so it was not a problem.
There was a very large restaurant and, even with the influx of more Germans half way through our holiday, was still big enough to accommodate us all.
Just around the corner were lots of the usual bars, restaurants and souvenir shops and we found an English bar to watch our favourite football games on. Even though we were all inclusive, we enjoyed these for a couple of drinks before going back to the hotel.
This is the first time that I have left a review about a hotel before, but I was so impressed with it and, especially as we were a large party and you would expect some problems, that I just had to do it.
I am well travelled having been to Australia twice, Canada, Thailand etc and I am a very picky person myself, so if you need a good holiday in Mallorca, book here.
Our age group was 30 - 60 (not including the 8 month old baby) and there was just one thing I noticed that there were not many children around.
I still think this would be a good place for families if you can make your own entertainment for them.

" We booked the hotel and flight... "

We booked the hotel and flight (choice) with Sundeal/Leeds Co-op on the Internet to get a 10% discount and then booked a shuttle bus transfer over the phone with them. This is the first time we have used a shuttle transfer (small or mini bus), and were quite pleased.
The hotel is on the inland side of the resort on the edge of the built-up area, so it was fairly quiet at night and about 10 minutes from the promenade. You can also walk along this promenade or the pedestrianised streets to get to Cala Bona. The resort is geared for those wanting a fairly relaxed holiday and not generally for teenagers! Night life tends to end about midnight to 1 o’clock.
The local beach is 10 minutes walk, clean and wasn’t overcrowded, bearing in mind this was Sept/Oct.
The hotel and the resort is orientated to Germans, but we didn't find this any problem. There were about 20 English people staying at the hotel while we were there, as well as some Spanish and a few other nationalities, and only a few children. Most of the hotel staff could speak English. The hotel rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The bedroom and the dining room had air-con. The beds were wood slatted with a comfortable sprung mattress. Bathroom was compact but adequate. Towels were changed on an "as required" basis.
There were three outdoor pools, a child's pool, an intermediate pool, (used for water aerobics, etc.) and a good sized main swimming pool. There is an heated indoor pool, as well as a gym, sauna, etc. The extensive grounds and the pool areas were cleaned every day before breakfast. There was always plenty of sun loungers and a large grassed area if you wanted to be away from the pools. This is an All Inclusive hotel, so the alcoholic drinks are locally produced, but good and unlimited and an excellent range. The hotel group has a website which gives further accurate information.
The staff are very friendly, efficient and courteous. (10/10)
There was always plenty of food. Breakfast can seem to be a bit repetitious, with bacon, beans, sausage, eggs, salad, cold meats, and cheese nearly everyday. Once a week there is a BBQ at lunchtime and themed dinners four times a week. Don't expect burgers, fish fingers, etc.
Entertainment varied from very good to poor (hotel "animation team" twice a week).
I would rate this hotel a good 3 star for food and room accommodation and 4 star for facilities and certainly worth a future re-visit. Value for money was very good.
As we liked the hotel so much we didn't venture into other bars, etc., although there was the usual mix of German, English and Spanish bars and restaurants along with plenty of shops.
The resort is well served by local buses and taxis and other forms of transport are available for hire nearby.

a lot of different daytime activities and a little entertainment at night, but at a relaxed level so it didnt get annoying. The thing really made the difference was the fact that no kids under 16 could be checked in, which is nice when you are a couple who wants to relax on their vacation.
overall an excellent hotel that is truly recommendable, we will definately be back if we go to cala millor again:-)
