I based my choice of this hotel on other trip advisor comments, all of which glowed about the manager Mustafa. Indeed Mustafa is a good guy, but when we were there, he was distracted by his upcoming wedding, and wasn't around to deal with matters. His staff had no initiative and no decision making power so we had one small disaster after another, beginning with the room -- we had booked a double but were given a triple dorm style room and moved the next day (after we complained). Hotel staff is really helpful, just ask them if you need help with planning your schedule, finding places to go, where to eat, where to taste wine, etc...Mustafa is your guy. Especially useful if you're traveling on a tight budget, like we were. There's free wireless available in all the hotel and an extra pc in the common area for customers to use (so you can still stay connected without having to carry your laptop) . I loved this quaint little hotel! It's like a cozy little bed and breakfast, very comfortable and they make you feel right at home- but they have a much better view than my home! The view is amazing because the hotel is on a hill- so you have an unobstructed view of the fairy chimneys. We had a remodeled rooftop room- super clean, comfy, and warm- so we spent a lot of time on the terrace right outside our room. The restaurant is up there too- great place to relax after exploring. This is my second time travelling in Cappadocia, and undoubtedly choosing Guven Cave again! At the first time I stayed in Guven Cave, I was so impressed about the double cave room...clean, dry and execellent wireless network, you can find the smell of sunshine of the blanket, that's exactly what I expected in Cappadocia. I stayed at this hotel and it was fantastic, the extra lengths that the staff went to was beyond anything i expected! Every question i asked, tours, general info, cultural areas, other places to stay .......awesome! Good luck to the guys in the future!!

I stayed at this hotel, and I cannot give it more than 1 star. The room itself was clean and ok, though, the problem was that the heating system didn't work properly. The shower was luke warm water. The staff hardly speak English, far from multi-lingual. Just as you could see those young turkish men in some touristic places, they were eager to get women's attention and annoyed us a lot.

Our stay in Cappadocia was wonderful! We stayed at the Guven Cave Hotel and ended up extending our stay, we enjoyed ourselves so much. The rooms were very comfortable and clean...most of them had their own bathrooms although they did have dormitory rooms as well. There was an ample supply of hot water, the food was excellent and our host was so helpful and spoke multiple languages which was wonderful for us as well as for interacting with the other guests.
