Gulec Hotel Pension

Had a great stay at Hotel Gulec in Bodrum. Basic rooms, but all that you need. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast in the garden, simple but nice and relaxed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again.

you get what you pay for. there is nothing to say except the room is clean, the breakfast is good, and mehmet is extremely friendly and helpful. credit cards accepted. parking at the front. free wifi

A college friend of mine and I arrived at Bodrum/Milas airport and took the bus to Bodrum center. Hotel Gulec is only about a 5YTL taxi ride away from the bus depot. We arrived late and the staff greeted us and took us personally up to the room. They offered us refreshments which was a great touch. They have a cooler with water, juices, beer at a very reasonable cost. The room was clean and quite spacious, air conditioner worked just fine. A peaceful little spot just a short distance away from the commercial chaos of Bodrum's beach. Very basic breakfast (but you can hardly complain, given the room prices).

We spent 4 delightful nights at Hotel Gulec.The location is fantastic, the owners genuinely caring and the staff very helpful. The room is basic but clean and quiet.We absolutely loved the breakfast in the delightful garden. Kamal, the owner recommended us restaurants which were outstanding. The service far surpassed that of Crown Plaza in Izmir for a fraction of the price. We highly recommend Hotel Gulec and would loved to check in again next time.

The Gulec Hotel is well situated in Bodrum, within easy walking distance of the sea/beach, the shopping district and the bus station. Its owners and staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help you out. There's a very nice courtyard on which all rooms apparently have a view. Our room was clean and quite spacious. The shower was problematic, as there was very little hot water and the pressure had to be kept to a drizzle if you didn't want to flood the entire bathroom. The Gulec is a delight - basic, very clean acommodation that is true value for money. Conveniently located, the hotel has a charming garden in which to have breakfast or read, and owners who genuinely care about the experience of their guests. The Gulec booked a Hamam for us, recommended excellent places to eat, saw to our transportation needs and presented us on occasion with fresh apricots from their trees. We stayed twice - a party of 6 - for four nights overall and will happily return.

reasonable priced privatly run hotel with friendly staff and a perfect location. close to everything yet calm. wonderful garden and clean rooms. absolutely to recommend for those who prefer a tasteful simplicity to luxury.

The family running the Gulec are so friendly and helpful that you feel totally at home there. Breakfast in the orange tree garden is a delight and the Turkish Tea flows throughout! They made our stay in Bodrum a whole lot better by helping us to find our way around, helping with car hire and so on. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is positioned right in the centre of Bodrum where all the locals eat and drink and is only three minutes from the tourist nightlife but at the same time is very peaceful and relaxing. We have been there at March 29th. The personnel was openning the pension recently. We stayed one day. Rooms were clean and big. Air condition was working properly. Breakfast was good. It was nice to stay as a couple.
