Got back from a girly holiday in magaluf 2 days ago. Stayed in the Sotavento Apartments and loved it!!! Great location and the hill isnt as bad as people make out....a walk down the hill takes u rite into the lively centre of magaluf!! great location.... beach is just down... more

The Sotavento is primarily an 18-30s hotel characterised by loud-mouthed immature reps, rude staff, spotty teenage smokers, uninhabitable accommodation and cans of Stella floating by as you soak in the pool. If you are a teenager or having some kind of mid 20s or 30s crisis... more

stayed here for a week. the holiday overall was brilliant, the hotel is fun only for young people tho as it is full of groups of teenagers, pool music is gud but it gets 2 busy round the pool so we went the beach most days. the hill is massive! some sed it was nt 2 bad but... more

We arrived around lunchtime and room was ready immediately for us and guy on reception was polite - you have to pay an 80 EURO deposit which you get back at the end as long as theres no damage to your room - they are very strict on this and charge for everything!! guys in... more

I think the whole holiday was fantastic (23rd June - 8th July), the men on reception were very helpful, kind and very funny. The rooms were very clean and spacious, there was an 80 euro deposit which we were aware we had to pay, but it was 20euros each for the 4 of us and... more
