Sotavento Apartments

We had 5 to a room and it was more than enough space. The staff are very warm and helpfull. Always about if you need anything. Pool is lovely and althought the DJ can be a bit over the top sometimes we enjoyed lazing by the pool. I could not fault the place itself but it is up a hill so if you are not a good up hill walker then you may want to get taxis (which they are quite happy to call for you). Will be without doubt staying here again.

What a awesome time.Excellent service brill staff thanks gill marko dan and the scotch dj whoes name i cant remember but wont forget him he was sound,,pablo the chef and everyone i forgot..all the staff food and service was awesome..livley friendly what more can i say best hols ever.and iv had a few.will definatley be back next year already planning it..thanks ppl..from jamie ste and rob

Just got back from a week at sotavento and could not be more happier, pool area is fab and atmosphere throughout the day is such a laugh, the dj is hilarious and Marcus is such a good laugh but this hotel is not for you if you want a quiet holiday!! All the bar/pool staff are really friendly and welcoming however the reception staff aren't so much. The food in the pool side cafe is nice and affordable. The rooms have everything you need and are modern. The only complaints we have with the rooms are the HORRIBLE sofa beds which are just a thin plastic mattress on a wooden box, also the sheets on the main beds were only changed once when we were there. Thanks for an amazing holiday we will defo be back!!! 4 Nottingham girls xxx

Sotavento is the best hotel in Magaluf, its clean, it has the best pool and is near to everything that you need, the pool bar staff are amazin especially Emma and Carla, the pool has a dj everyday so you always have music in the background rather than have to carry an ipod around with you, would recommend to anyone who is goin to magaluf!

cant rate the apartments and staff highly enough.
rooms were spotless and regularly cleaned.
pool side DJ was top notch and created a friendly and fun atmosphere.
though at top of the hill, your hardly noticed the climb back up after a few shandys.
if your a stag, hen or just a lads n lasses away day this is the ideal venue for you.

As the title says, the bar staff were incredible, couldnt fault them, the hotel building was magnificant,the pool was excellent despite the DJ having the musical variety of a homeless bloke and a broken recorder, but... In one week 300 euros and £100 went missing, 200 0f the euros from the safe, I personally know none of it was taken by any of the other guests I staying with as I kept the key on me at all times. I would definately recomend staying at this hotel, however keep your money and valuables hidden well, and one of the reception staff has a bad attitude problem, him beng the main reason we did not complain about the money as we feared it would lead to repurcussions far worse than the money we had lost.

So went in july 2010 and had a great week, went out every night and seriously takes its tole on the body, one week in this hotel is enough..rooms are fine defiantly would only have four to a room, didnt cook that much in the room as it is so cheap to eat out, pool area is great in the day, atmosphere really gets you buzzing for a night out, you want a top floor apartment, just so no one is above you...also remember to check the room before you settle in as there is a costly checklist they show you, somehow got away with about 200euros of damage.. the so called HILL that evryone talks about, you barely notice it when your pissed ont he way home...and really helps keep away the smells and sounds of the strip as your at the top of everything...reps are great and no trouble round the pool...all in all good holiday for 400quid.

had a fab time in may on a hen weekend this hotel is so alive the dj played music all day round the pool fo be going back again

Just got back from an amazing week at the Sotavento
It was our 1st time in Magaluf and It really is the best hotel- yes theres a hill but its not that bad and you won’t even notice it after a night out!
DJ Jack played tunes all day by the pool and helped with the entertainment
All the Freestyle reps were amazing!!!
The beach is close – sun beds a tad expensive
The strip is so close and far too many bars and clubs to mention all giving us free shots and 2 4 1 offers
Pirates is a MUST!!!!
Rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures especially the bathroom
Kitchenette is fine – hobs are a little slow but no need to eat in all the time as food is so cheap – really would recommend Robinson Crusoe’s by the beach
Only negative is the rooms that face the pool hear the music that starts at 12 so next time we might ask for a room facing the back of the hotel or the far sides
Already looked at prices for next year and aiming for 2weeks!!!

This holiday was amazing!! Loved all the staff and the reps, definatly coming back next year
