Ramada Plaza Istanbul City Centre

Regarding facilities its ok but i had a problem with the luggages. I have booked the hotel-airport pick up and they forgot to send me all my luggages. I noticed that when i was in the airport and i called them to send me, my rest luggages. They did so and they charged for this service even though it was their fault. So be careful and dont trust them.

While the room was great, the reaction to any request for service was not. Air-conditioning was stuck on (over) heat, and the fridge was in the same mode. Requests for assistance went unheard, until we decided to buy cold beer and wine, and bring them back to the hotel. Stopped at security, we were told we were not allowed to bring in any drinks, due to hotel policy. This had nothing to do with any religious convictions, as the fridge was full (just warm!). The Ramada Plaza is a dump. Location is very seedy and the top floor is sued for parties and weddings. When I called the manager to complain about the noise and asked him if I could expect the nosie every night - he had the bareface cheek to say - I wish I was that successful in renting out the function room - but don;t worry the party will finish at midnight! This is a great Hotel to consider if you are visiting Istanbul. We spent 7 nights and would absolutely stay again. This is a relatively new Hotel, extremely clean and situated not far from Taxsim. We booked the Superior Room which was only slightly more expensive than the Standard Room. The room was very large and modern in appearance and decor. Agree with the previous reviewer. This is not a 5 star hotel. Ramada have to tried do the minimum in terms of ticking all the right boxes to qualify as five star but the hotel really falls short. If this was a 3 star hotel I would have given it a top rating but as a five star I felt really ripped off. The swimming pool is closed for most of the year even when the weather is beautiful. I'm not sure how others enjoyed their stay here. This is a hotel which touts itself as five star but really doesn't live up to expectations - yes it's modern and reasonably clean but thats cos its new. Housekeeping is poor and prices for what you are getting are extortionate. Customer service at Front of House was totally unacceptable for a supposedly top hotel. The service, the rooms, the food and everything was absolutely top notch at this hotel. I am positive that when I go back to the lovely city of Istanbul, I will be staying at the Ramada Plaza in Istanbul City Centre. I highly reccomend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service and beautiful surroundings and people.

We had a wonderful vacation in Istanbul thanks to the Ramada Plaza team. All the team including the receptionists, barmen, waiters and even the doorman were very polite, extremely devoted for our needs and gave us an amazing welcome. The breakfasts were very rich, tasteful and there was a big selection of food a good start for the day. The location of the Ramada Plaza is perfect, the tube station is near by, the rooms are large and modern lcd tv the only problem we found is that the vacation was too short but we are definately coming back.

stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, we took the supirior room about 45 m very clean, large room, all new, excellent quality(lcd tv) and service/ very nice breakfest, about 15-20 min walk to taksim center but there is metro near. best value for your money ' very good sauna, hamam, fitness center, nice pool, and all bran new very recomended,

My first stay at this hotel was last February.Rooms are nice. Hotel is clean. American buffet breakfast could be better.Reception very friendly. 10 min. by taxi to the old city.For my first stay, I had a very bad experience,expensive watch was stolen from inside my handbag in closed room. Put expensive items in the safetybox!!Enjoy your Turkish Hospitality..
