Starting off with the negatives! : There was no way of calling other rooms in the hotel, the en-suite was of such a small size, you were unable to sit on the toilet, and we are only of an average size, the shower was a dribble (no exaggeration) we found the blankets helpful as there was no heating in the rooms, which was rather annoying as it was in winter, we found the best way of heating our room was using our hair dryer, the hotel promotes a satellite tv service, which is wrong in both the rooms we had.
You should also consider that there is an overall 3 hour transfer time!
however... after exploring the hotel, we were staying in the older part of the hotel, which may be a factor to why we had all the problems listed, the view we had was brilliant, looking on the nursery slopes, the location of the hotel was the best out of any ski hotel we have stayed in and the restaurant service is fantastic. After everything said, we did enjoy the holiday overall and would recommend it, maybe a better choice would be the hotel miramonti, which is linked with the vittoria.

This was our first ski holiday. The hotel was lovely right opposite the slopes, ski school was fun. Our instructors were great.
We had a quad room which was ample, the food was good and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed using the pool, sauna and steam room.
Had a go at husky sledging great fun but very tiring. Loved the happy hour in the Heaven bar, spent all of our evenings in the hotel bar talking over the day's events.
Although this is our first time, we would recommend this place to anyone, it tick's all the right boxes, we are already planning our return.

We have just got back from the best holiday we have ever had. We went to Passo Tonale in Italy and stayed in the Hotel Sport Vittoria.
It was my first ever skiing experience so I was a bit nervous to say the least! I should not have worried.
The hotel was a 3 star but the way we were treated by the staff, the decor and facilities of the hotel, it was more like staying in a 4-5 star hotel.
The food was exceptionally good.
Passo Tonale is a great compact little resort. The slopes were right opposite the hotel, no having to walk for miles or get on a shuttle bus.
The Italian people were friendly and helpful and the Instructors were excellent. The nightlight is good, not too noisy but plenty of life if you want it (if you could take it after a full days skiing!!)
Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good all-round skiing holiday. I have already booked up to go again next year!

We went on holiday as two couples staying on a half board basis at this hotel. The positioning of the hotel couldn't be better, especially the fact that you just walked across the road and you were at the chair lifts and the ski school meeting point.
The hotel itself is a bit of an eye sore to be honest and I thought the decor inside was rather tired too, it needs an overhaul. I wouldn't have classed the hotel as a 4 star looking at some of the other 3 star hotels in the area which were (and other people we met backed this up) very nice indeed especially the hotel La Torretta which we went to visit on a couple of occasions for a pizza, they were fantastic!
The Miramonti was comfortable and clean but if we went again we would definitely choose the Torretta.
The resort itself was small and compact with everything close by. The night life wasn't pumping raves all night but more based around small bars and the odd few disco pubs. There was a fantastic little rustic bar at the end of the hill on the left had side of the road that runs past the Torretta which had board games and jenga to play so you could make your own entertainment there.
Ski classes were fantastic and great fun too, you did a mini slalom course on the last day and there was a medal presentation in the evening which was fun.
You mustn't go to this resort without going on the skidoo's they were fantastic, you could get a good bit of speed up too.
I would recommend this resort for couples and families who are of beginner or intermediate level. I think if you were advanced you would soon become bored with the runs by the end of the week.
I would definitely go back to this resort again!

A lovely hotel right in the centre of the resort and just across the road from the ski school meeting place and a couple of chair lifts. We had a quad room which was small but very clean. The pool in the hotel is very small and can get crowded as can the spa area. However they were very nice to relax in after a day on the piste.
A good cold breakfast buffet was served each morning and in the evening there was a plentiful salad buffet plus a choice of 3 starters and 3 main courses. To finish there was always a choice of ice cream, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit plus one other. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, particularly with the kids.
There was a short kids disco each evening but no other entertainment. However this suited us fine as we just went to the bar for a drink after dinner and then to bed (exhausted after a full day on the piste). We would definitely recommend this hotel as very good value for money. Oh yes and the heated boot racks in the locker rooms were great.

A warm friendly hotel. All services were excellent the pool and sauna facilities were lovely. Everything about the hotel was exactly as in the brochure. We were delighted!
Our kids enjoyed the hotel but were disappointed that the games room was no longer available. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The girls had a quad room which was excellent. The bar area was friendly and the staff very helpful.

This was my second trip to the slopes and my first to Italy, but first for my partner. So I wanted something fairly challenging for me, but easy for my partner. The lifts were great, never queued more than 10 mins and they were new. The powder was great, one night we had over a meter of the stuff (late Feb/March). Very good and secure locker room with heaters.
The hotel was very good, although the bathroom was on the small side, but who really cares since you only spend 20 mins in there a day. The sanua, steam room were fantastic. They also have a really cool shower that sprays you from every angle.
The food was good, but not great and gets a bit boring by the end of the week, however the veil is good. But lets be honest, you eat plenty for lunch around the resort anyway, so does it matter.
Suffice to say, I'm going to re-book tomorrow to the same hotel and be back there for March '10.
Bring on the snow!
