Mar Soleil Apartments

I'm from the party of four adults and 1 child. I think the staff in this hotel (with the exception of Mehmet, and the lovely hard-working cleaners) are arrogant and disinterested. Your passports are taken by the hotel staff and then left on full display behind the reception counter, which is NOT manned 24 hours a day as it should be, so be warned.....I've stayed in many hotels and never seen them just left there, the reception area is very open and easily accessible. we were a party of 4 adults and 1 child staying in the mar soleil apartment complex.my daughter and grandson arrived later that day .she was booked in seperate accomodation but decided to book into the mar soleil to be with us,her family.the second night of our stay we all had a few drinks(not excesive)and my grandson fell asleep so we asked my daughter to spend the night in our apartment with us as it would save her from waking her son up as he was asleep.the last of our party went to bed at about 5-30 am.my daughter woke up to find a total... more

Just back from Mar Soliel apartments, had the best holiday, was there with my husband two sons my friend her husand and son. it was such a great holiday, the apartments are basic but very clean the food they serve is lovely and very reasonable, all the staff were great, spike all the kids love!, bacardi, uri, charlie, dosh, rambo they so helpfull couldnt do enough for you, memet in front desk is very pleasent and helpfull gives great exchange rate on money best we found, im booking for next year all seven of us loved it, tears when leaving,... more

never go here say it is selfcatering what a joke not allowed your own food or water by the pool not allowed in pool with sun lotion holiday from hell. rooms not very clean ,only a two ring cooker and one pot for cooking got to hire everthing else.

i went to mar soliel with my husband and 2 children the rooms are basic but cleaned everyday .with fresh towels bless the maids they work real hard in the heat , take a tea towel lol and some loo roll as u have to buy it , this hotel is very good for people with children the staff were brill barcardi alex and nuri all took the time to play pool or table tennis with the kids, foods nice and reasonabley priced its 5 lira for a beer but if go out find faulty towers as its only 2 lira a beer there, the pool was quite big with a little slide... more

OK first it is not luxury but then again it is very comfortable. Things like having to pay for air con a little annoying but overall not a major headache, We loved our week here it was just so relaxing and such a family friendly place as well. The owners do struggle to get bussiness as it is a little isolated in the appartment scene but only a 5 minute walk to beach areas etc. The small bar is great value and the meals dammed good to boot.<br... more

arrived at the mar soleil at three in the morning only to be given room9 on the bottom floor. threr was no table a filthy sofa bed and no air conditioning.the next day we paid £70 for the air conditioning and we were told that they put guests in that room because they hoped they would up grade,when we tried to speak to the rep we found that there was 12 familys in front of us all with different complaints,it got so bad that the poor rep left leaving her manager to deal with the customers but her only appeard from time to time ,but the... more

We arrived at Mar Soleil, tired, hot and very stressed after being re housed as it were from Hisaronu, as the apartments there were dilapitated, and mouldy, so they sent us all the way to Marmaris, and what a pleasant surprise it was, the scenery in Turkey is so beautiful and the people were so friendly.
