Side Star Park Hotel

My boyfriend and I have just come back from this hotel, which we booked with first choice. We stayed here for 2 weeks.firstly the brochure did not show an adequate picture of the hotel as the back of it was facing on to two other hotels, instead of the beach as first thought. The hotel itself is a good 20 minute walk from the centre of the bustling shops/bars but there are more than enough bars/shops/restaurants nearby.The food in the hotel was fine for the first few days but got very repetitive, so this lead us to go out of the hotel... more

I was for two weeks in this hotel with my parents at the end of January and I can only further recommend it. The staff in the dining areas is very friendly and there is no communication problem. We had so much fun with the workers and I always preferred staying there longer. I will definitely visit this hotel again, at the latest next year. It was simply SUPER... Probably one of the nicest looking hotels we have ever stayed in, the rooms we had had was a bit on the small side, but very clean it over looked the large well presented swimming pool, the thing we found most frustrating was being ignored by staff at the dinning rooms and bars as they do not speak English as we were the only English guests in the hotel for three nights of our stay. First of all, i wanna say, I went to this hotel my daughter and my nephew.One of them 15 and one of them 16.If u are going lonely be carefull about hotel personel(men), they never let u alone and girls.I'm agree with ruby75. Animators and hotel personel always askin go to disco to girls from begining to end of the vocation. The girls were very uncomfortable this and even they couldn't enjoy the vocation. I stayed at the Hotel Side Star Park for 2 weeks 31st July - 13th August with my partner and daughter. The hotel is exceptionally clean¸ staff were very friendly and our room was cleaned to a high standard with fresh towels every day. My daughter (aged 12) made friends of all naitionalities and said it was her best holiday ever. I found the staff went out of their way to help you and are keen to learn to speak english. I would like to say please do not enter Turkey if you are female and are not going on holiday with any other males. The men working in this hotel bar/restaurant/animation were appauling. From the moment we arriived the men were constantly asking me and my friend to go to disco with them and their friends. We arrived at the Side Star Park at 3 in the morning expecting the keys to our room and nothing else. We were offered drinks, (the bar will stay open as long as you need it) and was even offered some freshly cooked food, (chef available for late arrivals). This was a surprise as the all inclusive ends at midnight. I have ben reading the reviews on this hotel and yes the hotel was full of germans and at the time we stayed there (october 2006) we were the only english couple there! The staff although spoke better german than english were superb and made our stay very enjoyable. I think this was the first season this hotel has been offered to the english but please don't let this put you off going there. Travelled to side star park hotel on the 4th august with my husband ,my son 9 years , my daughter and her boyfriend who are both In their teens .The hotel it self was very clean and modern the rooms were of a good standard . The hotel pool was large with plenty of sun beds but could you get one in the morning NO the germans would put there towels on them by 6am and when i mean germans the hotel was full of them !
