Positives.... Excellent hotel, great pool,nice friendly staff, good food.. Well worth being on All inclusive. Water taxi to San Antonio three streets down that runs from early morning till midnight.. Only 2 1/2 euros. Some excellent bars nearby too. Negatives... A little... more

Marvellous Marvell from janhutch
Ibiza The Marvell San Antonio Bay Excellent July 2007 I have just returned from the Marvell . I spent a week with my husband and 16 year old daughter.We had a brilliant relaxing week . Pool ,food ,staff excellent.The beach bar waiter was really nice,we would chill out there when it got too hot and watch out over the bay.Dont miss the beautiful sunsets at the beach bar. No need to go on a boat trip to see this. The room was small but big enough for the time spent in it.There is no real need to be in the rooms as there is plenty of food and drink on all day.All the areas were kept very clean. Plenty of sunbeds didnt have to fight for them in a morning. Entertainment fairly poor but plenty to do outside . Shooters bar opposite hotel excellent for karaoke. Would definately return to the the Marvell, ideal for a restful week.
Sound Hotel , But No Beach from davestoz
Stopped Here 6th to 20th August 2 Adults 2 Children, Hotel is very clean maid service every other day. Staff very helpful any problems and the girls on reception were very helpful. Can be a little noisy on a night with the doors being keycard to open they have a tendancy to slam shut. Would advise getting a room poolside as these were a lot quieter. Pool Facilities were excellent very big and pool cleaned every morning. Never had any problem getting any sunbeds in the morning "everybody still in bed lol". If you want a beach holiday this hotel is not for you as the nearest beach is 15 minutes walk away. Me personally not beach fan suited me fine. Also ask at reception where the suma supermarket is its about a 5-10 minute walk but everything is half the price than the supermarkets round the hotel although these were reasonable. Recommend Watching the sunset from the bar to the right on the seafront an Excellent Experience.
nice hotel - 'Blackpool' type resort from druidscross
The aparthotel public areas are spacious and airy and the pool area large and extremely well maintained with a nice (apart from the incessant blaring music) little cafe at the far end and plenty of sun beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The aaprtments aren't large but very comfortable for two. No toaster or kettle in the kitchen area - which is really all I wanted! Hob, pans, dishes and cutlery all fine though. I know lots of people who love this resort (my son certainly did) but I found it too 'Blackpool'. Sorry if that sounds snobbish but if you want a pplace where every bar is a Karioke bar and every restaurant sells the same fatty food and you're ALWAYS surrounded by noisy Brits - it's for you. It's really just one street. San Antonio proper is across the bay and is called San Antonio Harbour - These apartments are in San Antonio Bay. If you want nice buildings, great views, good restaurants and shops and an international crowd stay in Ibiza Town - I know I will next time. It's about 25 euros each way from the Marvello apartments - but worth every penny!

Fantastic facilities and although studios are on small side they are very well equipped with microwave fridge and cooking rings. Ask reception for kettle and toaster-they didnt charge us any hire fees! Pool bar has lovely snacks and you can sit overlooking the sea and San Antonio Bay-view is wonderful. One minus point-we asked for 2 studios on ground floor and each morning at 5.30am the refuse lorry picked up the refuse right underneath our studio balcony-VERY noisy! Apart from that we couldnt fault the complex. The reception staff are the nicest we have ever seen ( we had already read this in one of these reviews) and it was so true. The supermarket just outside the reception was very reasonable. We ate breakfast each morning at the restaurant acrosss the road(next to Irish Pub) which was real value for money @ 3.10 euros for full English breakfast with free tea or coffee. Each evening we ate in different restaurants and never had a bad meal. However we splashed out on last night in San An - had awful meal-stay in the Bay is my advice. The buses stopped just outside hotel-great as it was soooo hot. They cost 1.20euro to go in to San An. Its worth going in to Ibiza town from San An on No 6 bus as it only costs 1.60euro and buses run all night !! Ibiza Town is beautiful-make time to explore-and watch the show outside the Leather Shop at night- its something different!!!!! To escape the heat, we went on a Glass Bottom boat trip for 3 hours and you get to see a lot of the coastline and some really interesting houses built on the cliffs. The Marvell complex was a good choice for us and it is so clean inside and out. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Make sure you ask for rooms facing pool or sea as they are the quietest. There are plenty of shops bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Its a great place for a holiday.!

Travelled to Ibiza with a friend 24th May for a girlie week in the sun. We found the Marvell Complex to be very clean (with maid service every other day) and well kept. The room was basic but more than adequate with plenty of wardrobe space, a fridge, hob, microwave and most importantly a decent, clean bathroom! If you do stay here ask for a sea view when you book - the view from the balcony over the bay is stunning (especially at sunset). There is a large pool, smaller baby pool and a pool bar which serves breakfast, snacks etc. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. The shop attached to the complex is very reasonably priced so we didn't have to walk very far for provisions. The beach and ferry point to San Antonio are less than a 10 minute walk (quicker if you walk along the coast line but it is quite a stoney path so be careful - not recommended after dark) and the bus stop is very close by also. We found the location ideal - within easy reach of the busy San Antonio by ferry/bus but far enough a way to have a break from it. We didn't experience any noise on an evening. There are plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance and plenty of entertainment for kids close by. I would definitely use these apartments again - very good value for money.

We (9 of us, two families and friends) have just come back from the Marvell in Ibiza, the hotel is very clean, the service is fantastic, staff are friendly, food is great and not at all expensive!! The pool's inside and out were cleaned every day and the staff took pride in all that they did. We will definitely be staying there again next year!! Could not ask for a better place to stay, only a three star but definitely deserves more!

I have just arrived back from the Marvell Appartments in Ibiza San Antonia Bay - June 2005. The appartments were wonderful and clean. Just a ferry boat over to San Antonia centre cost 2 euros. Would highly recommend the Appartments. The food in the restaurant excellent. With the supermarket on the door step, and bowling allie across the road.

My boyfriend and i stayed at the Marvell Apts a year ago now and were extremely pleased with them, they have a large marble lobby/lounge and lifts taking you to your apartment. The apartments were basic but what you'd expect. The pool area is lovely, very large never being to crowded it backed out onto the sea. The bus stop is right outside, It is a 5 minute bus trip (1euro) to san antonio town. Overall a really good holiday, restaurants all near by and out of the crowds of san antonio but not too far from the action.

Been to Marvell 3 years on the go for clubbing holiday. Marvell is quiet in a beautiful spot. Just what you need after the night before. It is a little way away from the action but a hire car sorted this, or the bus service was great from right outside!

i would definatly recomend these apps. they were very clean,nice inside. great location. it had semi olypic swimming pool,pool bar. i taught super value for money,and they looked better than the rest in that area.j ust stroll out back is kumharus. which is well known hippy bar on island. go there. u can even see great pictures of them on ibiza-spotlight website.
