We stayed for 10 nights at Letoon Hotel Calis Beach, my husband and myself were given a ground floor family room, it was right at the bottom of the path that runs between the blocks. On almost each evening it was pitch black walking through the gardens, when i asked the staff for lights to be put on, they told me that all bulbs had gone!! Our outside lights didn't work, we only had 1 plug socket in our room that worked. My husband is 6' 2" he couldn't walk around our room as there was a concrete beam across the ceiling around 5' 6"... more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a cheap package holiday to a destination without the Euro, and preferably without the chavs. We settled on the Fethiye/Calis beach area of Turkey which was supposed to be much quieter than the big resorts of Bodrum and Marmaris. The location of the hotel is perfect - right on the beach and at the quieter end of the resort. The staff are friendly and helpful and really make the holiday... The Turkish Night is great - you have gorgeous Turkish food and dancing for about a tenner each. Breakfast included with quite a good choice - you pay extra for a full English if you want it (not much about a fiver). Make sure you get to the bar for 7.20 p.m. to see the most spectacular sunset!! Location fantastic, right on the beach and at the quiet end of Calis. The room was basic, but large and cleaned every day. The staff are helpful and very friendly (one particular member of staff a bit too friendly !) The food at the Letoon is OK, not great - try Georges restaurant instead which is a bit further down. We booked the hotel online, and chose it because of the location - we were not disappointed. The hotel is located at the quiet end of Callis Beach - perfect. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been any friendlier - we felt that we were visiting family. stayed at the letoon in june when we arrived we wondered what we had done as the hotel looks dated but we soon found out why people return year after year it was very clean the staff great it is a beautiful place not 18-30 somewhere to relax but 20 mins from night life liked it so much going back in september rob

A very relaxed atmosphere, The basic rooms were plenty big enough and very clean. Fresh towels and bedding daily. decent sized pool that was also clean. Breakfast was relaxed and made fresh to order. Travelled to the Letoon Hotel on Calis Beach on 14 June 2009. We had a brilliant week and met some lovely people. The hotel although one the oldest on the beach is also one, if not the best. It is immaculatly clean and the staff are brilliant . They can not do enough for you. The sheets and towels were changed every day and the rooms although small and functional are very clean. My partner and I stayed here in May '09. The room was basic (no fridge or tea/coffee making facities) but it was clean and we got fresh towels dail and fresh bedding every second day. Calis is a great resort. It's mainly just one long seafornt promenade lined with restrants/ bars. It's not got a big night life but there are a couple of livlier pubs near the bridge and Fethiye is a 10-20 minute dolomus trip away. We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 08 with a family group and loved how laid back it was. The staff are really friendly, Nevra and Efe in particular. The rooms are on the basic side but they are really clean and the air conditioning is really cold !!! It is at the quiet end of calis beach but it's only about a 10 minute walk to be right in the centre of it all, everyone we spoke to had been there before and some of the people had been 7 or 8 times which says a lot for a hotel.
