Bayram's Tree Houses

Bayrams Tree Houses should be torn down, as they are made of scraps of wood and garbage, and they are very dirty. BUT the (newer ) bungalows are nice and fairly clean. I also heard the dorm rooms were OK, as far as dorms go. I repeat do not stay in the tree houses, sleep in a cardboard box, or in a ditch on the side of the road. They both would be nicer, and cleaner!! My tree house was booked by an unscrupulous travel agency called Volare Travel in Istanbul. I am floored that there aren't more raving reviews. We are in our 8th month of our one year trip and can say that Bayrams left us with the BEST sense of value. It is the best location in Olympos as it is closest to the beach and ruins, the staff are very responsive to any request but not at all pushy (=perfect!), food is very good for the money, rooms are very clean... yes basic, but super clean, hot water, fresh towels, etc, etc... there is nothing more we could have asked for, for the price. Atmospheric, very relaxed place in a great location next to one of Turkey's nicest beaches and a higher standard of rooms than we expected. Great location, great communal seating area, very chilled. Rooms small but adequate. Food fantastic. Staff a bit abrupt and not overly friendly considering the friendliness of Turkey in general. I think with the number of places to stay in Olympus the staff could do with being more apprachable. Still a good place though.

This is a sensational place to stay. There is everything here for the independent traveller. The lounge area is great for catching up with other travellers or just hanging out. Onsite is internet, laundry, café and bar and a travellers desk. The accommodation is clean, warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water. Half board is included in the very reasonable rates and the food is tasty and plentiful. The best thing about the place is the super helpful staff. They bend over backwards to answer any question and even helped... more

'Come for a day and stay for a week' and we ended up doing just that! The setting was superb with the treehouses being set amongst an orange farm, very peaceful indeed. We paid 50 lira for a double bungalow as we felt to old to brave through the treehouses. It was a fairly youngish crowd there but nevertheless, a fantastic stay, would recommend to 20-somethings more than older people though.

In early May, the weather can be hot or cold. We hit Olympos when it was very hot. The nice thing about Bayam's is that the tree houses all have A/C units which were critical in the heat. In shoulder season, this is a very chill place to hang out. Olympos has a reputation of being a young party place, but that isn't the case in early May. First of all, this place would be kicking in summer but as i came in winter there wasnt many people around. BUT, there was hot water, VERY close to the beach 5-10mins, food was great and staff friendly. It was a bit cold for the treehouses but they have regular wood cabins with heating as well. Would love to go back for the summer.
