The entrance to Turkey requires each individual to pay a security guard £10 cash for each person (no receipt seems they pocket the lot) WHY? Why pay to enter a country (This is the first sting in the tail (outrageous). The Assur Apartments are delitefully equipment and clean. The staff were accomodating and helpful at all times. The only thing that let it down was that a pump located in the basement had become faulty and created a continuing knock through the building 24 hours a day. Despite numerous compliants their maintenance team failed to repair the fault before we had left. Guess its still the same. Anyway we did'nt let it spoil out hols just had extra alcohol and put ear plugs in (go equiped). Despite that we had a fair time. ? would we return? Not to Dalyan in May its too quiet. You cant relax either in Dalyan all the restaurant toutes want you in their resturants as they have the best food in town. Pick and choose carefully where you eat!!!! Enjoy your stay. I will give it another 5 years before returning.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel from 1st-8th May 2011.We love Turkey but it was the first we had stayed in Dalyan. The hotel is a hidden gem and a lovely place to stay and lived up to previous trip adviser comments. Intimate and friendly the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms, restaurant and grounds are well kept and comfortable. No need to take up room in your case with books as they have an extensive array for you to borrow. We stayed B&B a lovely selection each day- omlettes,pancakes,fried/boiled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, fruit etc. Drinks and food from the bar are signed against your room each day and you just pay in Reception either as you go or at the end of the week.Hussain the Rep was really knowledgable and helpful. We will definitely be going back
