Yeni Acun

We arrived at the Yeni Acun in the early hours of the morning to be greeted by a very cheerful, helpful night porter. The hotel has six floors and a small lift. Our apartment, which I think must have been for a larger family, was extremely spacious and clean, although basic. The balcony overlooked the pool and was of considerable size. these apartments are located not far from the beach. the apartments are clean and basic they do however have a good range of self catering equipment. A large supermarket is not far from the apartments although we did not find this to near the end of our break. The apartments have a pool and bar sunbeds are provided but we had difficulty getting some due to the amount of towels on sunbeds!!! staff are helpful and the food is tasty we went to turkish night in apartments food was really lovely and they had a bellydancer to entertain. Two bed appt which was advertised as self catering. Cooking facilities comprised of two hobs!!! These were very dirty. There was a fridge but no oven, toaster or microwave. It was very poor. The handle of the door came off in your hands and electrical socket hanging off wall in bedroom. Air conditioning did not function properly and there was none in the bedrooms, which meant you had to sleep in lounge area. Very difficult with two adults and one teenager!!. We are 3 girls and have just returned from a weeks stay at Yeni Acun, and have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The lady on reception is one of the most rude people i have come across. When having problems with our transfer home she refused to help us or let us use the phone. When returning from a night out at 3.00am one night we were accosted in the reception and told we were not allowed our key unless we paid for the air conditioning there and then (we originally agreed to pay this when we checked out along with our bar bill... more

3men and a little lady....... well 3 blokes and a lovely gal who have just returned from a very relaxing week at theYeni Acun. We arrived late on a flight from Exeter, not arriving until 5.00am. The nightman and the hotel manager both welcomed us and sorted the rooms without fuss. As with most budget / mid range hotels in Turkey you pay for air conditioning if needed; I really suggest you DO pay for this as it was blinkin' hot and the a/c cooled our rooms very fast.A tip; We found it was more comfortable to sleep on the sofa beds in in the... more

We just spent 1 week at yeni acun aparthotel arived 5 hrs late always do from Manchester. room adequate could be better. reception very nice. bar chef a bit tert with lone females ok with males most are bigger than him anyway. said sunday lunch would be roast beef & yorkhire pud,so I held him to his word, must say the chef did an excellent job! Bar prices a bit on high side but overall had goodtime. p.s 4th trip to Alanya will be going back,Beautiful place Gule Gule!

We had a great time at the Yeni Acun. The rooms were very clean, and they were cleaned everyday. The pool was very clean, but very cold. The food was good, the Turkish food was much better than the 'English' food. The staff were excellent and very attentive. The beach is only a short walk away, the nearest supermarket (Migros) is about 500 metres away and the city centre is about a 2 mile walk.

The bathroom and toilet were filthy I asked reception at several occasions to have the bathroom cleaned with bleach but it never happen; the walls painting dried and were falling apart. One of my kids had a piece of dry paint fall in his eye when he was in bed. Rooms were not getting cleaned up to 3-4 days, bedding were change only 3 times in two weeks. Stayed for one week did'nt want to come home. The rooms were in an acceptable condition. The rooms were attended to everyday and fresh towels were provided everyday. The staff were all amazing and couldn't do enough. The food was nice too and reasonable as we were self catering. I definately would go back.

My partner and I stayed at the Yeni Acun Aparhotel at the beginning of August 2006. I booked last minute through Hotelopia and was a bit concerned as it was so cheap, and I could not find any information on Tripadvisor or any other reviewer. The apartment accommodation is in good condition. The kitchen and bathroom fittings are quite new and spotless.
