Carisa y Palma Hotel

We stayed at the carisa y palma jan 1-7, 2005. Our room was beautiful, clean and super convenient. We'll be back as soon as we can. Every night we left the balcony door open and listened to the gentle crash of waves. I was surprised that I could not hear the music from hard rock cafe or coco bongo at all. Be careful of the hall door when you open your suite door and the balcony is open. It slams hard, loud and fast! (We were staying in a corner room). I really reccommend two restaurants. I stayed at this hotel with my friend from May 26th- June 1st, 2004. When we 1st got there, we were not pleased with the way the hotel looked. The room was nice but we found little bugs under the pillow of one of the beds. The employees there were really nice and changed all of our sheets and made sure we felt comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room which was great because we went shopping at the local walmart and had cereal in the morning and had tuna sanwiches for lunch. It was very cost effective. I stayed at the Carisa y Palma for one night 9-14-04 with my girlfriend. Our flights were delayed one day due to Hurricane Ivan and rather than stay another night at the all inclusive hotel we had been in for the previous 5 nights, we decided to stay here. It came highly recommended by my father, a retired Delta Captain and extremely well traveled man. This is where he stays every time he comes to Cancun. On a clean white sand beach in the center of Cancun beaches this resort property has spacious and quiet grounds. All the privacy we wanted in a tropical setting of tennis courts and a large pool. You are paying for location. rooms were alittle rough, but hard to complain because of the ocean view. anywhere else it would have cost you and arm and a leg. liquor/convenience store on site. Pool was not bad either. Very private beach, rocks were nice. Had a great time, service was good. Not a resort style, but very reasonably priced. Would stay at agin, but maybee ask for a different room.

My husband and I stayed at Carisa y Palma in March 2004. We were attracted by the cheap price, the kitchenett facilities and the beach location. Here are the cons: - Impossible to sleep at night without ear plugs because the whole hotel is partying and the walls are so thin. Great place for the price. You are right on the strip. You are in walking distance of all the clubs and bars. The condo's are clean the servers were helpful. One thing elevators have a 3 person capacity. there is no alarm clock or radio in the room so bring your own. Also if u are not satisfied with the first room ask nicely for a diffrent one and u shall recieve. If you are on a budget and what to be right where its happening then this is the spot for u

Excellent condos, We just had a studio for 12 days, very clean, great sea views and great location near the entertainment. Only thing to watch out for, is the music from the strip that continues through the night and the noise from the other rooms, especially when occupied by partying teenagers, the walls are not well soundproofed. On the beach side of things, the service from the hotel cafe is good, but watch out for the scams. This hotel was a perfect place to stay while in Cancun. Its right on the beach and it is in walking distance of the best clubs and shopping. The rooms are clean and have great views. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great condo to rent. Very clean and well cared for. I paid $70 in July and get better service than the Hyatt. The condo is located in the heart of all the action, if you enjoy shopping and clubing. Cancun has great bus transporation and you can take a bus within 50 feet of the front door of this condo. The pool was so beutiful and big for this condo that i would definately go again...note the elevators were small up to 3 people but that's about it. Opher
