This is a nice, small hotel, very individual in style, and with very personal service that you wouldn’t get in a larger, chain type hotel. The rooms are simple but well kept, cleaned daily and with TV, good free air conditioning and lots of towels (ie. six in a room for one person!) However, the balconies are too small to be actually usable and I’d suggest you ask for a pool view room …. there’s no view to speak of from the other rooms and they are a bit dark. we stayed at this hotel all inclusive.....low budget...excellent value for money...food was good ..salads,fish,chicken dishes, fresh fruit etc...alcohol, beer was good....hotel was clean and rooms were nice....swimming pool was of good size with lots of comfortable loungers to use...staff were lovely and helpful and very friendly.

Me and my mum just wanted a cheap week away in july and decided to give gumbet a try!!! Fab resort for all ages. Hotel was very small which wsa good as everyone around the pool got to know each other.Room were large and basic but had air conditioning for free which is rare in alot of greece and turkey. Food was excellent if you like salads and beans and rice etc. They always had a meat dish and either chips or potatoes and fresh fish. if you go expecting english food then dont go all inclusive in turkey as they all serve salads and meat... more

After reading many other reviews i was a bit dubious before arriving as to what to expect. We arrived at an ungodly hour in the morning 04:50 and was greeted by a very helpful night porter who allocated our rooms. He gave us room number 105 which is by far the best room in the hotel with a balcony with sea view and full jaccuzi bath room. The room is large and airy with excellent air-conditioning which you will need during the summer months. My Partner and I stayed at this Hotel on an AI basis for one week. We couldn't have wished for a better hotel. I had researched numerous hotels in Gumbet and although this had mixed reviews I thought I would give it a chance as it was a good price, I'd say we got more than what we paid for! When we arrived at 530am we got checked in and our bags taken to our room, which was unbelievable, we had a king size bed, jacuzzi bath and good size bathroom, free mini bar, free air con, sofa, television and a lovely big veranda with table and chairs... more

What a magnificent week. One of the best holiday breaks I have ever had. The food was superb, the staff friendly and the hotel and grounds well cared for. Our room was spotless and well looked after by our room maid who obviously took pride in her work. A big thank you to Ebru the Hotel Manager for her high standards which reflected down through to her staff. My wife and I certainly intend returning for another stay.

Just returned from this lovely small and friendly hotel set in very pretty surroundings. Ideal in May for a laid back relaxing holiday with good weather thrown in. Have visited Turkey several times and this is the best all round accomodation we have found. The A/I food is Turkish cuisine which we enjoyed. Selection is limited on the buffet but is of very good quality with excellent salad choices. Local drinks including Pepsi Light and a good instant coffee were available 11am to 11pm with home cooked biscuits and cakes (still hot)... more

As My First Holiday To Turkey I Had Got All My Hopes Up, I Went With BoyFriend Nan And Her Friend, When Arriving In Gumbet Bay Was A Bit Shocked To See What Was Around... Nothin But Dirt And Rubbish. This hotel is located on the east side of Gumbet Bay near the municipality's playground and cafe. Other than the municipality's cafe, there are no other restaurants or bars close by. The hotel location is depressing - abandoned buildings, overgrown lots, and trash on the adjacent properties. However, the hotel itself is lovely. we were supposed to be staying at another hotel in a totally differant resort but were told on the coach during the transfer that we would be the only ones staying at our hotel so they wanted us to stay at the flora, the rep told us that it was a much better hotel and he offered us an "upgrade" to half board from our original booking of bed and breakfast,we had stayed in gumbet in the past and had set our hearts on staying in bitez so we were really disappointed at this but he made us feel that it would be unfair to expect the other hotel to... more
