It was my first holiday in Ibiza and I must say I was a bit apprehensive about going because of what you see on the TV. I went with a friend thats been to Ibiza 13 times before but has never stayed i San Antonio Bay. We both had a smooth flight out there and an excellent transfer to the hotel. We arrived there at 12.30am and was greeted with a big smile from the reseption staff and given the key. You know what its like when you've never stayed in the hotel before you think the worst but we got into the room and was very pleased at what we saw. The room was just what we wanted and it was very clean, the beds were really comfortable and we slept like logs.

The next morning we went down for breakfast and it was amazing. Everything you could possibly want is there every morning and you never feel like you are cattle being shiped in and out again. It was relaxing and the food was always of very good standard.

I am normally a pool person but I really didn't want to fight for a sun bed so I just walked the 20 steps to the beach and thats where a stayed for the 6 days ha ha ha ha. The resort it's self was really clean with a shop and taxi rank just across the road which came in very handy.

There are some really nice bars along the beach on the walk to San Antonio and the night life is only about half an hour walk away. We didn't walk down there the first night we were there and had a few drinks and watched the world go by. Then I found Ibiza Town and he rediscovered it and we loved it. Just sitting in the little bars and people watching is brilliant because people are so crazy and different and lets face it at our ages (30 and 40 ) going to a sweety club every night and not being able to enjoy the next day cause you feel ill is not that exciting anymore. We found Ibiza town very attitive and went 4 times in that week. We even enjoyed the taxi ride down there going past all the clubs and not really bothered about going in ( now that shows how grown up we are ha ha ha I think). It did take us a little time to fine the bars we wanted to go to even though he had been 13 times before, but it was the first time to Ibiza Town without drink inside him and couldn't find his way around which was very funny but I surpose you had to be there ha ha ha ha.

If you like bingo then the hotel entertainment love to play bingo bongo every nite but you do have to be fluent in 6 languages to understand every number and the shows they put on are very good to warm up the night before going out.

Over all the holiday was fantastic in all areas and we plan to go back next year with other friends to share our experience of Ibiza and the hotel Hawii because it is nice to share.

I too along with my family (3 adults one child age 14!) in August 2008.

At this particular hotel a child of 14 is classed as an adult so when we upgraded to all inclusive we had to pay an adult charge for him even though he didn't drink alcohol!!!

The Hotel in all was very very clean, the rooms cleaned daily by a team of very hard working domestic staff, the reception staff very polite and the bar staff worked well under the stress of the Heat and awkward customers!

The food......very repetative....same old salad bar...same old desserts day in and day out...I was not really that impressed however my family thought it was good!

The situation of this Hotel is perfect for families of all ages of children from 0-18!

Lots and lot's to do in the day from Watersports in the Bay to a full time children/adult entertainer all day around the Pool! (Big up to " Abbie")

The evening entertainment was rather tongue in cheek from the usual African Dance troops who were OK to an amazing Drag Act who were 1 million %. To a Tom Jones impersonator that was Rubbish!!!!!!!

Would i go back....A million % YES! To see that amazing sunset for the 7th year is just too good to miss!

Yes i will go back to the Hawaii again.

I suggest becoming an Amigo Customer (15% discounts on lots of things) keeping your room until 6! Free beach towels daily.( small deposit required that you get back)

Thanks to Paco and his team for making my holiday to Ibiza worth going back!

Firts time at Hotel hawaii. Arrived at 10am but rooms not ready just told to wait in bar for 4 hours..... Not even given a complimentry drink (4 adults & 2 children) only one room ready at 2pm.....Room & bathroom very clean. But be warned take your running shoes coz the pool is chained off till 9am but people start queuing at 8am. So we had to set our alarm every morning so that someone could get in the queue and hopefully RUN quick enough 2 get sunbeds... wot a nightmare!!!!!! I've now decided that i would rather pay extra and have a holiday with allocated sunbeds... it was nice to come home for the lie in. We were there for 10 days, had not water or elec on one day and on another day the pool was emptied!!! really good idea in August. staff worked very hard especially in the dining room....

Myself and boyfriend stayed here for 11 nights at the end of July / beginning of August and can safely say that we had no complaints at all. In fact, we had a brilliant holiday here! The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and the maid came in every day, and changed towels when needed. We were unfortunate to have a room which did not face the sea, but this did not matter, as we spent no time in the room apart from to sleep, and we still had a balcony which I know some of the rooms didn't.

The staff on reception and in the bar / restaurant were friendly and more than happy to help, and the kids club entertainers were fantastic! The food was more than enough, with 3 different counters each morning for breakfast, and the same for dinner in the evening. The selection was wide and varied, and there was something to suit everyone's needs. The pool area was clean, and although the pool was big enough, the number of sunbeds is not enough to cater for every guest at the hotel. Be prepared to be down at the pool just before 9am in order to reserve them for the day, as if you do not put towels out then, it is unlikely that you will get a sunbed. Having said that, the sandy beach is right next to the hotel, with lovely clear blue sea. The supermarket just across the road is handy for drinks and snacks during the day with british newspapers daily.

The resort of San Antonio Bay is quieter than San Antonio itself, with a few bars and shops, as well as crazy golf to the right as you walk out of the hotel (past the beach). San Antonio, is lovely in the evening, even if you do not want to go out clubbing. There are a few small market stalls selling jewellery and local crafts, artists drawing portraits and caricatures, and cafes / bars / restaurants lining the streets - very nice to sit, relax and watch the world go by sipping a cocktail.

The sunsets in Ibiza are beautiful; if you want to experience them at their best, head down to the other side of San Antonio to Cafe Mambo / Cafe Del Mar which is where many people gather to see them. We got a taxi from the hotel to Cafe Del Mar (about 8 euros) and sat on the beach with a few drinks which we bought from the shop beforehand (as drinks there are very expensive), watched the sunset and all boats and walked back to San Antonio which takes about 10 minutes. Most evenings we walked back to the hotel, but there is a Hotel Ferry from the harbour to right outside the hotel which runs about every half an hour and costs 2.50 euros each. The entertainment in the hotel was good. During the day the kids club entertainers were brilliant, with a number of different activities, including water polo for the adults in the afternoon. The beijing acrobat show in the evening was fantastic, and apparantly the drag show was, but we missed that.

Overall, we loved this hotel and couldn't have asked for a better holiday!!

Great Food, excellent staff but the hotel is infested with Ants !

Had to change rooms a couple of times. Beware if you have kids and a sofa bed as the ants will get onto the sofa beds. Our third room still had ants but real beds so the ants were kept on the floor.

The hotel was lovely and clean - no criticism of the cleanliness at all.

The food was plentiful with good variety - pretty much something for everyone. It was not always what I would choose myself, but hey, holidays are also about trying different foods (that someone else has cooked!).

It was not always that easy finding something at the evening meal that suited kids. Mine are not very fussy eaters, but there were a couple of nights where they struggled a bit, particularly when the food was in sauces etc. My eleven year old was mortified at the thought of veal and there was a fair bit of this on the menu.

The entertainment was hit and miss, but again, just because it wasn't to my taste in music, doesn't mean it was no good. The drag act was brilliantly funny, the acrobatic dancers were amazing, and the tribute group to Lord of the Dance was also very good.

The staff were very professional - no sleazy waiters here folks - they were polite and friendly. One was a little bit serious, but even he thawed as the week went on and it was the end of the season...

The reason I gave it a 3 was because there were no snacks available at all in between the meals... I paid for all inclusive in the belief that snacks would be available, like for example when we went out for the day and arrived back at 4pm - no food available then until 7pm - not ideal with 2 children.

I drank very little alcohol and the children were obviously drinking soft drinks, but one waiter commented on the number of chocolate milkshakes he had - a bit out of order in my book.

Otherwise, on the whole we did not look for the snacks because we were generally well fed at the mealtimes, but when you pay for them and actually need them and they are not available and you are pointed in the direction of the vending machines, it does stick in your throat a bit.

The entertainment for the kids could also have been better - it was tired, unimaginative and samey. However, it was the end of the season and it showed a little and also there were not many kids there, so it's just something to remember at this time of year.

Just one final point - ladies do watch out for your bags, particularly at night - a guy on a pushbike tried to snatch mine - fortunately, he failed, but he was successful with someone else less than half an hour later. It is pretty rife there. So wear your bag strapped across yourself... but please, this is not a reflection on the hotel - just sunny med resorts in general.

Great hotel, couldn’t have got much better. You are right on the beach, 10 mins walk to San Antonio.

There is lots for kids to do the hotel itself is brill. The food is good with some theme nights the entertainment was good, shows were brill and the staff were really friendly.

The pool area could be a bit bigger but the beach is right outside the hotel so you could always get a space there.

We were really lucky we got one of the rooms with sea views and a bigger balcony (room 107) it was nice to sit there and watch the boats in the harbour.

I would recommend anyone with or without kids to go there as it is so good. It is also a good base for night clubbers as you are only a 10 mins walk from the night life in San Antonio.

They open pool area at 9.00 so try and get there at 8.45 as you might miss out.

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Hawaii in Ibiza and had the best holiday ever thanks to this hotel.

There were two of staying as a couple and this hotel is great for families and couples and who are not too shy about getting involved with the activities.

The staff were great with everyone and nice and polite every time you went to the bar.

The two nightly entertainers were great to, with prizes to be won every night in bingo bongo.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice relaxing yet good holiday.

Also recommended is the cafe Royal just around the corner.

Hotel Hawaii is set up a slight incline 8 or 10 steps up to main entrance but there is a ramp for disabled and pulling cases up.

This ramp has a 90 degree turn at the top so don’t know if electric scooters will go round, wheelchairs do ok.

Ramp outside to pool area but not to food bar outside, main food restaurant down stairs serviced by lifts which are not that reliable but disable can use the service lift, please ask we did and no problem at all.

Pool can be got to by a small gate from outside hotel if lifts not working.

Food in hotel is on a two week cycle so you don’t have same all the time, apart from breakfast, that’s normal, egg, bacon, beans, cookies, pancakes etc good selection.

Downside in the buffet is there’s no low buffet for young children and it does get like a cattle market first thing at 7 pm.

The entertainment very good a show every night.

Rooms basic with aircon and (TV payable) private bathroom but cleaned everyday.

Hotel in general very clean and in good position for either a quite holiday or a more active one.

Taxi rank straight outside and bus stop, pavements have ramps but only one end on most, silly really.

Promenade runs level to San Antonio from hotel.

All in all a great holiday, hope this helps people decide on the Hawaii or not.

Just back from a great holiday...

Just back from a great holiday in Ibiza. Stayed in the Hawaii Hotel which we found great for the following reasons.

1. Rooms were cleaned daily.

2. Great location - 10 minutes’ walk to San Antonio Bay.

3. View from room was spectacular - make sure to get a Sea View room.

4. Nightly entertainment.

5. Very pleasant staff.

6. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity.

All in all would definitely go back there and highly recommend the hotel.

I’ve just come back from Ibiza after 11 nights all-inclusive stay at the Hawaii hotel with my 2 kids and having stayed here before, I was impressed by the work that had been carried out last winter.

All the rooms had been refitted and tiled to an impressive finish. The hotel was clean and the staff as friendly as ever.

The food got better and a good all-round choice was on offer.

The kids and adults were entertained by what can only be called the best in the industry.

Going out for the night call at Trevor’s mini golf bar about 100yds from the Hawaii behind the Neptuno hotel, very good food and drink and free crazy golf for the kids.

Just tell Trevor the Bolton fans said free golf - he will know who you mean.

The holiday reps in the hotel are good this year but they all try and sign you up for all the best deals.

13 of us went to this Hotel, mixed ages 23 to 55.

Had a great time. The food ok, not great. Pool very small and very cold. Rooms good had to pay for telly. Staff not very friendly and stuck to 2 drinks per person.

Not very many British, mostly German. Entertainment was good if cheesy. Really near to town which suited the 20s.

We were happy to stay in hotel.

Hi everybody, well you wont be disappointed with the Hawaii Hotel myself, girlfriend and kids have been here 5 times in as many years we keep coming back because of the service you get from day one of your holiday, the rooms are quite roomy with fantastic views.

The food here is plentiful with a mixture of different foods daily and a carvery 3 times a week and all fresh, what more could you ask for, all the staff make you feel welcome with the bar staff being funny and friendly.

For the kids is the kids club with people who enjoy their work with the kids(abi your the man), and the adults get to play games as well with both parties getting medals at the end of the night just before the entertainment which I would say is very good with different acts nightly.

That’s why we book to go back every year. NO lucky lucky men alowed on site at the Hawaii so no mitherers. Oh just to say the kids will love it and if the kids are happy so is the wife, only a few feet to the sea and no main road to cross. You can walk out for 100yds and still be up to your waist so enjoy the Hawaii hotel San Antonio bay Ibiza. Have fun and relax, we did. Adios
