Candan Apart Hotel

Please read our review as i think you will find it very helpful for you stay in marmaris. On arriving at the Candan apartments at 3.00am! me and my partner (Davina) both thought it seemed quite far away from the main areas, but it is actually in a very good position close enough to everything you will need within walking distance. Superb apartment which was kept spotless by the maid who came in every day. The towels and bedding were changed several times a week. The apartment was quite spacious and bright with a patio door in the lounge which led onto a balcony, same in the bedroom which led onto an adjacent balcony. The bathroom had a suberb shower cubicle which was large with double curved doors, there was plenty of hot water with with tremendous pressure. Candan is in a good location very clean & feel this is down to the cleaners here who give you clean towels every day etc but don’t ask reception they will tell you every 2 days not at all helpful but the cleaners do such a good job that makes you say here excellent Thank you . There is a basic bar for a very quite drink on a night with a pool table you pay for and a football table game. CANDAN APARTMENTS (NOT HOTEL) ARE IN A GREAT LOCATION. 10 mins walk to beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops locally. Rooms were fine for me and my 2 kids age 17 and 12. We had air con in both lounge and bedroom, which is about £30 a week extra. Best £30 I've ever spent!!!!! Food in the restaurant is good. Rooms were clean, and it looks like the loo rolls issue is resolved. I took some with me after reading other reviews, but there was plenty. We booked a late deal through Travel Republic which included airport parking, flight, accommodation, and transfers, and didn't have any problems at all. Candan Apart Hotel is owned by the same owner as Club Candan (which Thomsons use) but is quite a bit smaller. It has been refurbished in the last 12 months so everything is clean and new. Just returned from a 2 week holiday in Candan Aparthotel with family including 4 teenagers. Apartments were kept spotless by the maids, pool area was spacious and sun beds were readily available. The pool bar was reasonably priced and the bar staff were superb, theres even a wide screen TV near the bar where you can watch Sky Sports etc. Theres also a weekly market held next door to the Canden on Thursdays where you can barter for a bargain. Only problem we encountered were people going at 5am and putting their towels out which is out of order... some people didnt get a chance which is unfair. also , make sure you have the air con if not you will have to havedoor open and it is quite noisy with the cockerels and the mosque!

9th july 2009 Just returned, from candan apartments & ready to book again, (was a bit worried before we went, as no reports on this place only club Candan, ) however, we made the right choice, Eddie and the boys at the bar were great, made our holiday. whole place was spotless, cleaners were everywhere, and if you don't want to stay in hotel, bars outside are all friendly and serve good food, the beach is only 5 mins walk away as is all main nightlife also market right outside hotel on thursdays. our first time in turkey and wont be the... more

Just back from a weeks break at club candan appts, nice apartment maybe not the four star as advertised but decent at the same time. lovely pool and the self catering facilities in our apartment were excellant, and all kept very tidy by the hard working staff.if you book trips make sure you go to one of the many agents outside the hotel and not the airways rep as they are much cheaper.I would return to club candan as it was a very good place to stay.
