Siesta Hotel

We booked a last minute deal on the internet to go to Gumbet for a week expecting a nice relaxing time without the children - it didn't happen. When we arrived at the Siesta Hotel we were given room 108 - this had clearly seen better days - several strips of borders around the middle of the walls - all ripped, no wardrobe in the room, the bathroom ceiling slats were broken and ready to cave in at any time, room was next to the staff kitchen - we were eventually moved to room 312 after asking for a wardrobe! 312 I can only assume is... more

The staff here are friendly enough. The bar staff really make you feel welcome as you relax in the really nice garden at the back of the hotel. The room was another story though. The shower tray was broken, only one light worked and there were blood stains on the sheets. Try and complain and you get a big load of nothing. We tried to extend the room for a night flight and were denied this, despite being told we could and that it was advertised on the tour operators web site! the apartments were clean well presented & spacious,. staff couldn't do enough for us n they love the english! The food was excellent best we had in Gumbet! music played till 4am only downside if not your thing!

This is possibly the best hotel in gumbet! The staff were extremely friendly, and always polite. The bar was fantastic, and had a great atmosphere. Everywhere was clean, and the restaurant food was nice. Ideal location, close proximity to beach and nightlife. Would strongly recommend the hotels boat trip, a lot quieter and better value for money than the other rival companies. Would definately go back to the hotel, well worth the 4 hour flight!

bad staff rude and presurising! the cleaning staff niked my money and other people's clothes!! the maneger and his wife where the mob at the end of the bar every night keeping check on the staff and the guest's!! we found the reseption staff rude and unhelpful to the extent that we would have liked to have been moved to anouther htl!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL TO STAY, EAT, OR DRINK!!!!!!!

this was the best hotel i have stayed in turkey i loved it the club is just around the corner and so is the beach. it is best for the younger people

We found this hotel to be far too noisy - noisy til about 4.00am each morning. Hassled continually by the restaurant staff to eat there and not do your own thing. Rooms not very clean. People told to leave earlier because they needed the rooms for other people arriving. - This is clearly not acceptable when holiday has been fully paid for.

Stayed here and agree with others. Pestered into eating at hotel but never did. Was told I could keep room on at end of stay, then had argument with Manager as to why I did not eat at hotel which was because of the prices, then I was told there was no room so I could not keep room on. The room sat empty all the time we were there waiting for our coach to pick us up. If I had taken Visa Card I would have gone to another hotel during my stay. Rumour has it First Choice had terminated their contract with this hotel.

The rooms are of a basic standard, the restaurant serves nice meals. BUT the bar is brilliant, its has a wild and wicked atmosphere, covered in sports shirts and the bar staff are FAB. I would recommend this hotel for young people after a upbeat holiday !!!!!!!!!

This hotel could be a very good hotel if they got there prices in line with all the rest, i found that i was pestered to eat at the hotel all the time, and when i did they messed the order up and over charge me. They was not happy when becuase i went down the road to eat which was cheaper than them, they over charged for water to the point that all most everyone went across the road to but it, i was told that i was going to get a buy one get one free but when the bill come i was charge for it and the discount never came after being told it... more
