Orion Hotel

We have just returned home from our 2 weeks at the Orion Hotel, within days we where made to feel at home, The manager Bunyamin and his wife Sarahup where very friendly, they made us feel part of the family. and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is not big and brash , but quiet and friendly, just what you need for a relaxing holiday. We would recomend it , and will be returning . Barry & Sandra (Manchester UK)

First time holiday in Turkey (lovely country) and went to this hotel in Sptember 2006. Read some decent reviews on hotel and was somewhat influenced by what I had read, however, there are some problems with the hotel. Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Very basic facilities at hotel. We encountered problems with the bar bill, you need to really keep a check on what you are paying for. OK, we might as well get the gripes over and done with first. The hotel itself is very basic with no tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom, no tv or radio so if you like peace and quiet in your room then its right up your alley! There are no plugs in the basins which is a bit inconvenient and no hot water until the evenings as heating is solar powered. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that Ive come home with back ache but in its favour the room was well sheltered so we didnt need to pay the extra 25 lira for air conditioning.<br... more

My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Orion in Bitez. What can I say but probably the best holiday we have ever had. The Orion is a small family run hotel were nothing is too much trouble ( Many thanks to Benyamin and his family ), the condition is fairly basic but it is being refurbished over the winter so it should be greatly improved. This Hotel is uder new management with all new staff for 2006. We stayed there for two weeks starting 10th June 2006 and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The manager Bunyamin along with his lovely family and all the staff working there could not do enough to make our stay there one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Hotel orion with my wife and 4 friends, and we all agreed that we would definately go back. The hotel is small, and the room we had was fairly basic with no TV and air conditioning a chargeable extra, our bed was comfortable and we were supplied with extra pillows on request. Have just spent 2 weeks at The Orion. On arrival, the hotel seemed just as it did in the brochure, however it did not take long for those expectations to sink! The rooms are very small and yes, that french balcony really is as small as it looks in the brochure. Second year running at the Orion. High standards of cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location. You are made to feel very welcome. Probably as good value for money as you will find.

Stayed at the Orion Hotel in July. Lovely place, spotless clean and ideal location for the beach. Hotel staff very obliging, service was excellent. I have stayed in Bitez for four years running, and love the place. If you are going to the Orion, you must eat at Annies Bar, it is owned by An English couple, and you can have traditional english food, at very good prices. It is situated oppisite the Bitez Han Hotel, about two minutes walk.
