Club Samdan

Just returned from 2 weeks stay at the Samdan and given the amount of chat around the hotel I am sure that there will be some very contradictory reviews posted here. I would like to re-iterate what the previous poster has said although, in fairness, our room (310) did have a fridge the rooms are definately only of a 2 star standard. Cleaning could be a bit haphazard although a daily change of towels was always provided. The Samdan is in a great location. Unfortunately that's about it. The staff there of which there was minimum have a great deal of trouble understanding a word you say. There are two cleaners for 50 rooms. Myself and 3 friends stayed for a week. Our room was only cleaned if we kept asking for it to be done. Even then it was a minimum effect. The bin in the toilet that we had to use for the toilet paper was only emptied twice. We had to paddle in the bathroom due to a leak that was never looked at. The food was pretty horrendous. Hi I have just returned from the Samdan hotel yalikavack which is on the outskirts of Bodrum. We went on the 2nd of June for 2 weeks. I always go on tripadviser and could not find any new reviews. The reason we could find no reviews is because the hotel has been closed for 2 years. The hotel has reopened under new management. We have just returned from our holiday to Samdan Hotel in Yakilavak, we had tried to look for reviews before we actually went but couldn't find any so feel compelled to let you know what its like.The entrance to the hotel is ok, the reception area resembles a cave with a door. The staff do try their best to be helpful but there is very much a language barrier. We have just returned from this holiday and can honestly say we have had a brilliant holiday...but it does depend what you are looking for! The hotel has been closed for some time and just been taken over by a new hotel chain, and they are currently doing the hotel up! First impression was OMG what have we done?
