Kool Pool Studios & Apartments

Our family of six included four adults, my eleven-year-old daughter and fourteen-year-old nephew. We arrived at the kool pool apartments at 3.30am in the morning, the rep handed us a piece of paper that had our room numbers and the time and place of the welcome meeting later that afternoon.
On reaching the apartments she took us to entrance, told us our room numbers were on the card and here is your key’s. One was on the first floor the other on the third floor we dropped my families case in, then proceeded to help my sister’s family up to hers. There was no numbers on the doors of the third floor and we were unsure of which door was hers.
We got the room, when going in side we all looked at one another the room was dirty, there bathroom and floor looked as if it had not been washed ever, there was two single beds and a tiny old fashioned camp bed the mattress was all stain marks, broken and smelled. Having seen this we all went down into our apartment [ha-ha, that’s what we thought], it was the same smelly, dirty and the camp bed was black and broken.
The noise within the apartments was unbearably loud, there was groups of young males and females running around naked, making sexualised immunisations to anybody they could see, fighting among themselves and kicking in apartment doors, our children were terrified, also there was no way they could sleep on they camp beds.
Given the time of morning my sister decided to retire upstairs to her apartment, this was about 5am, the noise was getting increasingly worse my daughter was scared out her wits and was curled in a ball between her dad and myself shaking and sobbing her heart out, my husband wanted to go out and speak to the boy’s but I wouldn’t let him as I was worried that he would end up in hospital or even dead [you just don’t know].
At 7am I text my sister on her mobile to see how they were, she informed me that my fourteen year old nephew was the same he had not slept all night and was so emotionally upset and terrified the same as my daughter. So we decided to get out of there, which took us minutes as we had all slept in our clothes. When leaving the apartments the crowds were still going nuts, my daughter was subjected to seeing naked boys, fowl language and sexualised behaviour.
We walked around Kardamena in a daze our kids were terrified and still emotionally upset as was my sister and myself our husbands were angry and wanted some answers. At the welcome meeting we sat outside as our children wouldn’t go in due to it being all young boys and girls there we were the only families there, Kelly the Kosmar rep told us that she knew this would happen when she saw her list and it was our travel agents fault.
She told us to come back to the Kosmar office at 5pm it was 1pm. She told us to go back to the kool pool and use the pool, our kids did not want to go back, we were shattered, with no sleep and having to walk around the whole day carrying our valuables.
We had spent a fortune. On entering the pool side our husbands went to the bar to buy soft drinks, our children would not go near the pool they both sat with their towels over their heads. The boys and girls were walking around naked and the boys were making rude gestures the husbands came back from the bar we walked out with our drinks in hand, my husband informed me there was a girl round the corner of the bar giving a boy sexual favours.
Once again we walked around Kardamena, stopping for drinks to get the kids out the heat and something to eat. When we arrived at the Kosmar office at 5pm, we were informed that we would have to pay extra to change our accommodation, we looked at each other we had been so looking forward to this holiday, I had been so ill.
Luckily my sister and myself had packed our bank card. I cost us 325Eu for apartments and 25Eu for a taxi. I have to say we had also paid for 2x1 bed apartments and were given 2xdirty minging studios you wouldn’t keep an animal in.
