We stayed (Myself and husband to be) in Peters Kool Pool Studios and Apartments, a great welcome as we arrived. A helpful family set up, Peter and his family were more than helpful and the whole holiday flowed and was absolutely seamless.
Situated in an ideal location, in the middle of Kardamena it allows effortless travel to and from the beach, the town and attractions.
The Kool Pool will be our next stop for our next holiday (hopefully later on this year or next) It was our first visit and we will without a doubt be visiting again!
We have been told that Peters Kool Pool Studios and Apartments have a website and given an address and we will be signing the guest book shortly!
A five star experience, great night life, welcoming and friendly people. Absolutely Excellent!!!

Had the most amazing holiday. The resort was clean and tidy, family run and they where lovely! There were just 2 of us and felt very welcome and safe.
The food was really cheap and nice. They had a bbq at kool pool and it was the best night great food and a real laugh.
The resort is in a perfect location, nightlife was amazing. Recommend Bliss Bar and Expose Bar.
I would recommend this resort to any 1, and can’t wait to go back in September.

It is such amazing stay at the Kool Pool, there was 18 of us derby lads most hotels would treat us like rubbish but at Kool Pool every one is treated so nice and with so much respect. We stayed by the Kool Pool every day and drank with peter and his family after. he's a top guy.

Reading the reviews was a bit of a worry but we both (24) found the stay pleasant, enjoyable with friendly family staff and great service.
Expecting the worst, really we were quite surprised to find everything ran smoothly, other guests were also friendly.
Day's out, times by the pool, an absolutely great time was had, a week there, not one complaint. Excellent.

Just got back from our holiday, and absolutely loved it there.
Would jump at the chance to go back!
The apartments were pretty basic, but what we paid for. The maid came in and cleaned practically every day. The kitchen was very large and we had two balconies to chill on.
The only problem we had was that we had one towel between two of us, but it was sorted out when we told them and we got a new one straight away.
The pool is great, Peter and Stelios and all the staff really make you feel welcome and your able to have great fun with them.
We went to the BBQ on a Monday which is all you can eat for 10 euros plus karaoke, which had a wonderful atmosphere and the food was lovely.
Kardemea itself was amazing, bar street is the place to be. The music goes off at 12 but you've got clubs to go to after that. Would recommend down town for some cheesy music, status is a great club and the foam party at starlight is a must!
Me and my 3 friends all had the best holiday ever, and would love to go back next year. The staff are welcoming and the facilities are all good too.
However, if you're a family i wouldn't recommend Kool Pool, as i don't think i saw a single child in sight. It was full of 18 year old boys and girls, which was great for us as that's our age :)

I have read all the review and the one about having to be under 25 is rubbish. I am 30 and had the most amazing time.
I used to also work in travel for a number of years and found this one of the nicest places to stay.
Rooms are basic but we are talking Greece here. I asked for clean bedding and toilet roll which I was given but I suppose it’s all about how you ask. If you have any problems Peter will sort it out. Him and his family are great.
I would always recommend the Kool Pool. I loved it and all the people of various ages. I am looking at when I can go again.

Had such a great time in Kardamena, this was hugely down to staying at the Kool Pool!
Peter and his family are fantastic hosts, very sociable, spending time each day with guests, asking how their holidays were going, what they were doing that day, recommending nice places to eat etc.
Stelios (Peter's Dad) built up a friendship with every single person staying at the Kool pool while we were there, and did everything he could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The reviews here that say the Kool Pool isn't suitable for people over 25 should not put you off if you are older, we had an older (both in their 70's) couple staying next to us, and they had only good things to say!
We mentioned to Peter about the negative reviews we'd read, and he said that was largely down to the time of year, if you're looking for a quiet holiday, probably best not choose Kool Pool July - August, either side of this is fine.
If you do experience problems, Peter will do everything he can to sort it asap, we had a toilet that wouldn't stop flushing, as soon as we told him, and he went straight over to fix it.
I have only good things to say about Kool Pool, and am already planning another holiday there for next year!

The Kool Pool is a must for anyone going to Kos. A family run apartment complex with the best & liveliest pool around situated just a few minutes from the main square & bar street.
Peter, Laura, Stelios & Mama immediately welcomed us to Kos with their friendly attitude. The Monday night BBQ is a must, Lovely food & all you can eat!
Our three bed studio apartment was clean & basic. Cleaners come in & clean everyday with towels changed twice per week.
The Kool Pool bar is excellent offering a great breakfast & snack menu & the cocktails are highly recommended!
Most of our days were spent around the pool listening to Peter's excellent choice of music while soaking up the sun & enjoying the 'Kool Pool'!
The best holiday I've had. I can’t wait to return next year to see Peter & his family.

Very clean, tidy, spacious, but basic, does everything for what you need.
We have stayed there before in fact for the last 2 years and have booked to go again in 2008 as we like the place, it has a very friendly feeling, and homely.

Had the most amazing holiday in Kos. Definitely recommend going if you've not already been before.
Staying at the Kool Pool apartments was great, Peter and his family couldn't of made our stay in Kos any better, always entertaining and welcoming. I really can't wait to get back there to see them all!!
Peter and his family always had a lot of time for guests, which was lovely, most of the days we spent our time around the kool Pool and bar soaking up the sun, on Mondays the family put on an amazing bbq and karaoke which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

If you are over 25 forget it. People coming in from clubs from 3.30am till 5am. Banging doors, being sick, sitting on balcony, Arguing do I have to say more.
The accommodation was very basic even for Greece, even the Cockroaches only stayed for a short time, I am not kidding. Linen and towels were not changed all week. After the first Loo roll you had to supply your own.
No wonder this holiday was on special offer.

4 adults 2 kids - Arrived at Kos airport to be greeted by Libra Rep, informing us that our accomodation that we previously booked wasn't available and we were placed into KoolPool. We were seething as this was the 2nd time Libra had cancelled our "booked and paid for" accomodation.
On arrival at KoolPool we were given 2 rooms next to each other on the 1st floor. Our balconies faced North and towards scrub-land and unfinished roads. There was an unfinished building opposite and tethered goats around the area. The rooms were basic, damaged furniture and wardrobes. Ceiling light had exposed wiring taped together. An open electrical fuse box, a constantly filling toilet that overflowed. Our rep informed us that we if we came to the greet and meet at 6pm that day she would see if our "booked" accomodation would be available in a few days time. We never went as out flight into Kos was a 6am departure from the UK and we'd been up all the previous day so we missed the greet and meet. I know from experience that these are just company promo's so we never missed much. We never saw the rep again or even knew where their office was located???
Woken every morning by a several cockerels at between 5-6am. The apartments were quiet but this may have been due to the fact that we went early on in the season. The apartments were at least a 10 minute walk to the preferred beach and and with kids and all the stuff you have to bring along for a day at the beach, it was no fun. We never ate, swam or even went to the KoolPool as we were so disgusted, I'd declared that we'd not spend any money in KoolPool.
Kardamena is a great place for everyone, you just have to make sure you get the right accomodation, if it means paying a little more then do it!
I for one will never use Libra Holidays again and I will definately not be staying in KoolPool!
