A good choice for Taksim Square

It's not the best time of the year to travel to Istanbul in December but if you want to be in one of the nicest places of the city choose the Taksim Square area. There are a lots of hotels around the square and the choise for us for accomodation was Butik Star. A nice view from the room. If you go for a suite you have a nice Bosphorus view. The room is quite big with all the facilities you need. The personal is nice and helpfull. The food is also good, nothing special but no complains either. And the internet is free. All togheter we...

Location deserves better management

Good location, bad management, bad breakbreast, bad hygiene! Also I wonder who ever architect the interior room designs! I am 175cm and I could not take a shower without hitting my head into the shower head. Same logic in the location of tv in room

I have suprised bcs hotel was a perfect hotel

Hotel is located at the beginin of the "sıraselviler avenue" 50m to "taksim squre", 100m to"istiklal avenue". Hotel is small and very smart. Hotel staff is excited and helpfull. Rooms are very large and comfortable. They are providing; mini bar, high speed wi fi internet, balconi(with a view to sea), large beds, satellate TV, A/C system and security box in the room. I stayed there 3 nights. Its location is quite well for Istanbul. It is close to most crowded street of Istanbul, Istiklal Caddesi. It is close to subway and other transportation means. Rooms are incredibly small. Air condition was not working in my room. A friend of mine had a problem with electricity in the room, too. I had to insist to change my room since air condition was not working. In the room i moved, bathroom faucet and cubicle was not working properly either. Breakfast was reasonable. Reception is tiny like everything else....

The hotel is located quite successfully, is not far from area Taksim. Absolutely beside the street Istikljal with set of cafe, restaurants and shops begins. Hotel absolutely small, on each of eight floors settle down from 1 up to 4 numbers. Rooms are or with a view on a bustling street near to area Taksim, or with a view to Bosporus. But if you wish to enjoy a good sea view take a floor not below 3-rd. Breakfasts extremely modest: sausages absolutely inedible, cheese - average quality. Figthing with the noise and smells

The hotel is recently renovated and the personel is polite and helpfull. The main problem of this hotel is that half of the rooms are facing the street which is exceptionally noisy , always crowded with people and cars that are constanly beeping and drivers shouting to each other. In adition to that the music from the next door nigth club makes sleeping imposible. When we asked to be moved to a quite room of the other side of the hotel we were asked for another 50 USD per nigth. Second problem was the sewage system not working properly...

Nice Hotel

I stayed in the hotel for a week. The room was very comfortable and clean. A bit noisy location (even in night). Hotel staff and service bellow average (they did only what they had to do). Breakfast basic, but tasty. I personally recommend this hotel.

This hotel offered good value for money. The rooms were clean and we had a large balcony. It is ideally located to access Taksim's shopping and nightlife.
Short but sweet!

Stayed just for two nights but found the staff friendly and accomodating. ABove average room with lots of space. They actually gave me the choice of two rooms when I checked in. I didnt eat there. The location is great, just a short strol from Taksim Square.
