We've been re-directed to Agrellis because of an overbooking in Argiri, and they said "you, lucky!". They were joking, we hope. The room was dirty, the toilet too. They never cleaned up nothing, and we had to ask twice to have our white turned yellow towels changed...whit some others worst!!! The same for the bed. The fridge was nearly broken, and noisy.
...and in the end they made us pai for the a-con without telling us before. They said "here it works like this.".
But it was hard to have even a small breakfast served decently, even if we paid for it!
...cheers!
ps. even if we were not interested in sport or London forecast, we had to listen and watch such those tv programs since 9am...till late night.

booked a one week late deal with Olympic; thought that getting a cheap holiday meant rubbish accommodation? that was not the case. Yes it was basic but so are most of the hotels/apartments in Greece. We arrived at some ridiculous small hour of the morning to be met by Markos, owner of the hotel. His brother owns the apartments which the younger holiday makers seem to prefer as it has a pool, bar, pool table etc. The hotel itself was lovely, friendly, clean and tidy. 24 hour bar manned by either Markos or one of his sons. Near enough to the centre not to need a taxi but far enough not to be bothered by noise. Markos showed us the rooms that he lets directly to holiday makers; much larger and on the top floor with views all round. One of them had a vast terrace! would we book again or recommend - yes

Stayed at the hotel Agrellis, And found the hotel clean and Marcos and the staff pleasant and helpfull and in all a nice little hotel first time we used it, But would have no hesitation of using again.Although there was'nt a lot of people in the hotel those that were seemed to be regulars so it must have been good. The only downside was the towels provided, they were hard and rough so you were more inclined to dab yourself dry rather than rub....

We were self catering we had a 2 ring hob which was rusty, a kettle and a fridge, room had 2 single and 1 double bed. Room wasnt cleaned all week there were cotton wool pads under the single bed when we got there and they were still there when we left the same as the rubbish (sweet papers under the bed) no change of towels or bedding all week, Staff were rude to guests one of them even stuck his fingers up at a guest and he was drunk on duty, the bar was supposed to be 24 hour it was closed by 8.30 each evening, needless to say we didnt spend much time there, certainly would not recommend it to any one

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 nights in september 09 self catering.
Extremely basic self catering - one medium hob and one tiny hob (not our equivalent of small, tiny!) and one kettle. No sponge/washing up liquid or anything for the sink and washing. (and be warned, kardemena supermarkets charge at least 1 euro for ONE sponge...!)
Air conditioning is 50 euros for a week...and it gets EXTREMELY hot in the night..considering the temp of greece air conditioning should be provided really...
Sheets and towels changed once during the week...cleaner came in every morning to fold the sheet but that was it, didnt clean floor or anywhere else...just folded the bed sheet!!
Rooms set out well though...with large wardrobe/storage space and nice big balcony...
Nice pool and number of sunbeds...however, thier pool bar was RIDICULOUSLY expensive....2 euros for a can of coke/irn-bru/fanta etc etc...
The staff weren't friendly, HOWEVER, i'm sure if you spent all your time at their pool bar they would have been! As soon as they realised we weren't gonna be paying their bar prices every night they were off-ish and arrogant.
If you want a basic room just to stay in this is fine, but dont expect more.
If you want a friendly, lively, accomodating place this probably wouldnt be the best.

Staff were rude and pre-judging. Treated my friends and i like we were kids, swore at us for having sand on out feet that we had picked up from the poolside itself, after having a shower.
Cleaned our room once, on the first day, and even when we arrived there was hair all over the shower floor and bathroom. The shower is blocked, not just in our room, but in all 5 rooms we had. The air con leaks, that goes for all the rooms aswell, and when asked to fix it, you are treated like you broke it yourself.
Loved Kos, the hotel was awful.

This was myself and my boyfriends first holiday together and it was brilliant!
We arrived at about 6 am and as we were self catering we were in the apartments next door to the hotel. This was great though as it was where the swimming pool and outside bar were. We went for a drink at about 7 am to the hotel bar as it is open 24 hours! The room was lovely..really big and we had a massive balcony with a pool view. There was a spare bed in the kitchen (very handy for boyf when he was hammered LOL) and the bed we had was a double.
I must add that from about 9am the music from the pool is pretty loud and all night people walked past drunk and shouting.
Kardamena is very lively and I was a bit annoyed one night as when we went to bar street, people try and get you into their bar, the women act like hookers a bit. One girl chased us up the road and when I turned around she had her hand on my boyfriends bum!
We went to a nightclub one night (Starlight I think) and when my boyf claimed that his vodka was watered down (they were filling the glasses 3/4 full of vodka, but you couldnt taste it) the barman threw it all over him and called him a [--].
The beaches were great, if you eat in a restaurant you get sunloungers free outside the restaurant otherwise you pay a small fee. There were watersports and other activities available on the beach.Beware in the shops though. I picked something up from one shelf and it knocked some suntan cream off the opposite shelf. The shop keeper lady was ok and I helped her clean it up. We carried on looking around and when we went to walk out she started shouting at me to pay 20 euros and would ring the police, we walked off but it was a bit scary. There was no way I was going to pay for some cheapy sun tan cream that was on a different shelf.
We went on a trip via the rep to the waterpark and it was amazing!Me and boyf were very childish on the lazy river trying to throw each other off the rings.. heh heh.
Overall, although it was rather wild and young in Kardamena we did have a brilliant holiday...I havent stayed in such a nice hotel since.

We loved Kos and the night life, but expected to go back to our room & have 6 hours sleep between 12 midnight & 6 am. We slept in a room over the bar which was open 24hrs we did not know that before travelling.
The building was very smoky about 4am - the furniture was being moved ready for breakfast, as the bar was turned into a place for breakfast. It smelt of stale smoke and people were still drinking. People came off the street to drink.

We go to the Agrellis every year it is a fantastic hotel, Marcos and his family are lovely people. But looked at prices for next year with Kosmar and it has gone up by £100 per person it is ridiculous. We love the Agrellis but had to book somewhere else next year nearly £2000 for 4 adults its crazy.

Visited the Agrellis, September 2006. Loved it so much we are returning September this year for another stay.
The Hotel is run by Marcos and Phillipos, two brothers and their sons. They make the holiday by being so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them and the free drinks of raki and ouzo they dish out at the 24 hour bar. We found this out when we arrived from the airport at 1.30 am and were soon joined by all the other arriving flights, Glasgow etc. We had one for the road and ended up going to bed at 7.45 am.
The Hotel is kept spotless with the Pool Bar serving snacks all day, which are perfect whilst chilling out by the Pool all day. The town of Kardamena is a five minute walk away with Clubs, Bars and Restaurants, so no noise at night.
All in all we had a fabulous Holiday and are really excited to be going back.

My partner and I went for a quick getaway and to re-charge our batteries, but after a week in the Agrellis I can honestly say I could have done with another week, because we had so much fun and didn’t stop laughing the whole time.
Marcos or should I say MAD MARCOS is absolutely brill! The whole of his family are excellent and you really do feel so welcome. My only advice is to book early so you don’t miss out on the whole experience.
When we arrived at about 3am in the morning the bar was open so we thought we would have a night cap.
We were soon joined by each new arrival (Bristol, Manchester flights etc etc) and decided to have one for the road at about 8am! This set a precedent for the rest of the holiday. Be warned you soon get used to the free drinks of ouzo/raki! The pool area is excellent and the food is good.
I will definitely go back; actually I am trying to book as I am typing this review.

My partner and I have just returned from the Agrelli, 4th to 18 May 2011. Fantastic, clean, friendly and fun.
Marcos, his wife and two sons, David and George could not do enough to make our stay more pleasant. What struck me was the number of folk who return year after year. I, in the past have enjoyed visiting "New Places" and thought it a bit sad to keep going to the same place.
After staying at the Agrelli you will have to go back, we will. Young or old people simply do. The most friendly hotel I have ever stayed in, FACT.
