Corinthia Labranda Hotel

The hotel mainly attracts northerners looking for an all inclusive all you can eat and drink bargain. The hotels consists of two seperate hotels. The Literia is about 150meters from The Labranda. The Literia only offer basic breakfast and a basic bar, The Labranda is where the buffett food and swimming pool is situated. If you are placed within The Literia then you will have to negotiate steep steps every time you want to access facilities. Hi all we came back from the Litera Labranda and Gulluk hotel 2 days ago... 2 hotels the main hotel is nice - but we were in the smaller hotel down the hill. there are 70 odd steps up (prety steep) and a hill. A lot of people were complaining about the food, I myself included. It was stew and veg everyday. Now and again there was fish and chicken. Bread is lovely and soups were ok. Entertainment... well it was one bloke (wouldnt want to do his job at all) - the activities were darts, water polo and ping pong. most of the evening... more

If your looking for a quiet, chilled holiday then this is not the hotel for you. you had to get up in the morning at 7 to get a place by the pool. there where activities all day like water polo etc so when you fancied a dip in the pool you couldnt. although for a bit of a walk to go to the man made beach where there is another pool was very quiet and peaceful. you still had to get up for 7oclock to get a space there. the food was nothing special but then again for the price you pay for the hotel, its fair enough. the hotel itself was nice.... more

After reading the reviews me and my partner wasn't looking forward to our break at all.......Its not that bad really!! We wanted a chilled out holiday to recharger our batteries and we got just that. To be fair the hotel had only been open 3 days when we arrived so it was a little on the quiet side. If your wanting a bit of night life then i wouldnt recommend this hotel. When we booked this hotel for our holiday to Turkey I was quite worried because the reviews were very mixed. We have holidayed in Turkey a number of times and really like the culture, people and the landscape. When we arrived at the airport very early in the morning we were sent to our room and we had requested an adjoining family room. There were indeed two rooms separated by an arch and although it met our needs as a family it was fairly tired. This hotel is good value for money but definitely NOT five star, but then its not five star price. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the waiters and front of house staff. The hotel has fantastic views from the rooms and from the pool area because its located on top of a very steep hill. The walk down to the town takes 10 minutes but you'll need to catch the bus or a taxi back. The rooms are clean but public areas need more work for example if a drink was knocked over the stain was still visible three days later.... more

just got back from the labranda , good hotel , good staff, good price , good location but the effort the staff put in make up for it if you decide to stay in the hotel at night , gulluk itself has maybe 2 decent bars if your lucky but to be honest thees are usually full of or surrounded by sleazy turkish guys who are quite keen on having a not so subtle perv at your partner , they know theres safety in numbers so its best to just try and ignore it and take it as a compliment whilst making your retreat!! the hotel entertainment team try... more

I stayed at the Corinthia Labranda as we do some work in the area. The hotel is at a beautiful location in Gulluk, right on the water. When we stayed at the hotel, it seemed empty and half of the hotel was closed. The hotel appears isolated on its website, but in reality it is hard to find. FYI, as you drive through the town, look for the restaurant Fuego, and then drive up the steep hill on your first left, and take your first left and then drive to the end of the dark road. Me and my husband spent a 10 days vacation in 2005 in the Labranda Corinthia. It was our first All Inclusive experience and we found it ok. The hotel has a very good position and great view over the enormous Mandalya bay and the sea view rooms deserve all the praise. The rooms are large, paved with tiles and have a large bathroom. The restaurant has a very nice terrace and you can have all you meals outside. July 28 to August 4 are the dates of me&my friend and my cousin's stay at Corinthia Labranda at Güllük,Bodrum . We are in our mid 20s and were looking for a good food, an average beach, at least no animation, well-cleaned rooms and a city which we could be visiting some places and clubbin at nights. What we found out there is: A perfect cleaning at rooms (can't find better at a 5 star hotel), delicious food with satisfying variaty. Animation can keep you busy all day long.
