Blue Bay's Hotel Deluxe

Well we were warned about the overbooking and it happened. We, my wife and 16 year old son arrived early in the morning at 7.00am after the usual 1 hour 40 minute trip from Dalaman, the bus stops half way for a water stop for about 20 mins. On arrival at the hotel the "reception" person told us that our room would be ready at 10 or 11 am even though we wrer due to arrived the previous day and said that he would give us a room so we could have a rest we were then marched across the pool area into another pool area and into the apartment block... more

Just back from Marmaris and we stayed in the Blue Bays Delux a great hotel , good food, service and close to the beach with all the entertainment you want, would recommend it to all. The hotel staff deserve a special mention. The resort itself was very clean, modern and inexpensive with something for everyone.

just got back yesterday,where do i start,the good bits are its a modern hotel,near to the beach. the bad bits,reception,you will find it hard to find a member of staff who can speak english or give a dam so if youve got a problem dont bother your only there for a week or so. when you check in dont fall for the over booked con if you do you will end up in the BLUE BAYS HOTEL AND APPARTMENTS not the same hotel and just happens to be next door,its only a poor 3 star and very tired and shabby. sun beds forget it,all the beds will... more

Great Hotel! Me and 10 of My friends stayed there for a week and it was quality. Food was good and veried, drink as much as you like without any frowns (Which we did), nice hotel rooms all though a little small with cool air con and nice clean bath rooms. I have stayed in many hotels in my time and this one was great.

My wife and I have just returned from a 1 week all inclusive stay at this hotel. Overall the hotel is well positioned 70 Mtrs from the beach and the many restaurants & bars in Marmaris. The Bazaar and marina area is at the other end of Marmaris which involves a short ( low cost ) dolmus bus ride or a leisurely walk along the promenade to visit. Blue Bays Deluxe was advertised as 5 star. It was clean the room facilties were adequate, the room was a little on the small side, there was a balcony and this is what makes it only just better than a Travel Lodge. The reception areas were great, the front bar was also great. There was a hairdresser, beauty salon, gym and a Turkish bath which looked to all be very good. Upon arrival at the hotel we were told they had received our booking late and therefore did not have a room for us .They could put is in their sister hotel which is also the Blue Bays Hotel but not deluxe. They would move us at 12 or 1300hrs the next day. We had read reviews that warned of this so we were adamant about not accepting this as our booking had been accepted as far as we were concerned. My sister and i decided having worked hard over the year, to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury. We therefore booked the Blue Bay Deluxe. On arrival, we checked into the reception of the deluxe and was then escorted past two pools to the Blue Bay hotel. the hotel was beautiful. Especially the inside. the lifts were a bit temperamental though, opening and closing whenever it wanted! this wasn’t that often though. the bedrooms were a bit small. balcony was nice and spacious. my husband didn’t particularly enjoy the breakfast but i think it was ok, buffet style with lots of things to choose from. good for both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. the hotel was located near to the beach, there was a dirt pathway out side of the hotel. we didn’t see it until the 5th day. its outside the... more

Have just returned from the BlueBay Spa delux Hotel (not to be confused with Bluebay apartments) - We have stayed in Marmaris 8 times -this was without doubt the BEST hotel from our experience.
