We stayed at Emre Beach hotel by chance. We did not like the hotel we were staying before and our tour operator upgraded us for no extra cost. The hotel was very new and clean. Manager was always around and he was polite. Although many people spent their time around the pool, beach was still crowded. Food was good, mostly turkish food most of which I never saw in my life before. Rooms were very clean, with big TV and nice view. One thing we noticed is that the majority of the hotel was from England and Russia. There was maybe 1 or 2 more...

Hi Just some information concerning one of the hotels in Turkey used by major tour operaters. The Emre and Emre Beach hotels Turkey Marmaris is classed as a 43 star and 4 star hotel respectively There is no entertainment what so ever day or evening; and children at night were left in front of Tom and Jerry with no sound on The all inclusive deal is not great or worth while, you are not allowed even to take a drink into your room and as there is no entertianment or music at the hotel there is...

Renovated 2008, read 2009 reviews only. Great Hotel...

This is quite a long review but useful as there is not many reviews out there since the hotel was renovated in 2008. We went to Emre Beach Hotel for a last min holiday on 4th July 2009 for 1 week. The hotel was renovated in 2008 and you can tell, the rooms are laminate floor, nice bathrooms with shower and bath, flat screen tv with cartoon network etc, decent balcony overlooking pool or beach (beach view amazing with mountains and sea etc). We stayed at Emre Hotel last year and came back last week. I'm writing this review from the Lobby while waiting for our bus :). We had actually booked for Emre Hotel, but could not resist changing our room to Emre Beach once we saw the dramatic change (we paid extra for room change). I think they rebuilt the entire hotel, as everything in the hotel is new. The rooms, the restaurant, the bars... Everything is rebuilt and redecorated. The food was better than last year's. We are leaving today, and I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay....

we just come back from this hotel yesterday morning (28th),unles you are russian or anything but british you wil enjoy this hotel,overall the emre (not beach one /) is lovely the rooms are clean and comfy.went with hubby and 9yr old grandson.on arrival at 2 in morning check in staff ok,not as friendly as i thought as usualy turkish people are,(this being my 7th time) in turkey got to room it very nice 2 singles pushed together and a chair bed.the breakfasts are not very good not much choice.ok if you like eggs scrampled,boiled or sorry not...

own up you pay for what you get

people go on line to get a value for money holiday and get it as cheap as they can then moan that they have not had a great time everyone knows that star rating abroard is not the same as english ratings . Knowing that then instead of setting out to find fault they should just relax and have a good time my husband and i together with our two grandchildren aged 8 and 7 stayed at the hotel last october and had a wonderfull time the staff went out of their way to to make jokes with the chiildren which was lovely as there was only entertainment...

I am a 22 year old girl and travelled with my friend who was 21 at the time. This was my first time staying at Emre Beach and my first time in Turkey and I would not return to either. I stayed at this hotel on an all inclusive basis but spent as much as i would have if i had gone self catering as we found ourselves eating out every day! I would not consider myself to be a fussy eater but most of the food served was inedible! It was the same thing every night, most of which we didn't even know what it was. Do not go here all inclusive, I went self catering last year to Club Orient and spent less than here all inclusive. The food is terrible, I hadn't even heard of half the stuff they served. There were 35 of us that went on this holiday and to be honest they really do not cater for children. I was having to pay to eat out every day and the food was really bad. The only recognisable thing to eat at breakfast was boiled eggs. You would find yourself really hungry waiting for tea and when you got to it very dissapointed cozs you knew it...

The hotel is located right on the beach which was great. We were told it was 4* but it is 3* at the best. The rooms are very small and basic. The bathrooms are run down and need major work. The staff were mostly friendly, except for one or two bar staff who give the option they were to good to work there. The all inclusive drinks were restricted to one per person, so couples had to get their own drinks. Food, breakfast was a laugh, unless you liked melons. Lunch and dinner on average I would give no more than 3 out of 10. Sleeping, forget...

first time in emre beach hotel food terrible boiled eggs bread no butter or jam mellon for breakfast reheats for lunch spoiled table covers cutlery exposed on tables for to long a time empting plates outside resturant in the eating area a harbour for flies not nice what so ever food not nice better lunch on the boat trips shower area you could hardly turn air condionting poor no where to cool in reception as temp.reached 65 degrees Ayrshire Scotland
