Oz-can Hotel

mac + boo went to the oz-can may 10th and on the way over the mountain(spectacular but scarry!!) i started to get anxious, as id read an awful lot of reviews on this hotel and frankly all v bad!!. we got it cheap and its only a place to rest your head, i thought. well on arrival , reception is clean efficient and prompt. good clean room ,free air con, safe and fridge ( good start). room over looking the beach + pool. fantastic views clean warm sea( a bit stoney) the village of turunc is peaceful,quiet and lively all in one. best bar is... more

I cannot fault this hotel as a value for money venue. It was clean and the rooms were large by Turkish standards with air con and safes included in the price. The food was basic but plentiful and well presented. Although I would say it would not suit the tattoed masses as I only saw a chip once and not a burger in sight. The staff were excellent and went out of there way to help when I had a problem with my transfer. Private beach and small pool in the middle of town a great place to stay.

I'm just wrıtıng my reveıw here at Özcan hotel because I couldnt waıt to tell everybody how great ıt ıs .Well I dont know where to start , the people here are absoloutly amazıng lıke Murat , Kenan , Orhan , Çıhan , Ibo , Erkan and agaın Murat for darts. I have enjoyed my stay here lots and I love the food variaties .The veıws here are really outstandıng from the hotel ,whıch also has a beautiful veiw of the beach .Water taxi's ınto Içmeler are regular on the hour ıf you want to go shoppıng or have fun on the banana boats... more

We stayed at Hotel Ozcan three times last year and i must say I disagree with all the negative reviews, the staff in the hotel are just fantastic, and cannot do enough for you, we all went on a boat rip with "Gulie" the lovely lady who looks after the guests, and she is so genuine and made our boat trip a day to remember, the bar staff are so friendly and also helpful, Murrat the manager again makes sure everyone is happy, yes the hotel is basic, but it is very clean, and we had no complaints with our food, we certainly dont think you could... more

My friend and i went to Ozcan Hotel all inclusive for 2 weeks , in the 2 weeks we were there we ate 3 times at dinner never had more than 4 drinks yuk yuk no Effes the only place in Turunc not to sell it ...Tuborg !!!! I have just got back from this hotel and never again. Hotel is very basic but clean . fridge in room did not work and was not fixed. staff where ok but looked very unhappy, the turkish lady who said she was customer service was unhelpful she is very fake. the cleaning lady with bloud colur hair is very good and helful and we gave her a big tip and she was very gratgeful. this hotel is very central for everything, but the food is so not good they do not throw away anything. breakfast is so limited lunch im not going to... more

There are two parts to the Hotel either side of the road, we stayed in the older building, on the beach side of the road, in fact that was the only good point. We were on the third floor and there are no lifts, rooms are clean, basic and very cramped, the fridge was disgusting and stank of sour milk. I could have cried when I saw the pool ( love to sunbathe by the swimming pool) it wasn't possible the surrounding area was filled with tables and chairs ready to accommodate the guests for each feeding frenzy, breakfast, lunch and dinner.... more

Dont go to this hotel,the place is terrible.There is no swimming pool as such because basically the swimming pool is the all inclusive dining room. The staff are probably the rudest i have ever come across.The food is very basic mainlely aimed at the Turkish holiday makers ie salads and yoghurt with everything.If you have young children dont stay at this hotel as at mealtimes children are not catered for. Just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday in Turunc. What a lovely destination! Quiet, peaceful and yet with enough bars and restaurants to have a nice night out every night with some sort of live entertainment going on somewhere each night. If you're looking for a bit more of a livlier night out then a water taxi is cheap and last one back is at 1am. You can browse shops here without any hassle and the people are friendly. The Hotel is in the center of Turunc and split up in two parts on both sides of the main street. The main Hotel is on the main street and the other by the beach. The rooms are basic but clean but hot water was only available after about 17:00. Most meals had a good choice of salad but the choice of main meal was take it or leave it. The meals themselves were of good quality but don't expect chips with everyting as most are Turtish, we stopped for two weeks and the second week was a repeat of the first but you have a good choice of resturants... more
