Myra Apart Hotel

After a bad start after getting hol cancelled through Gold trail and having to re-book last minute to 4* in Alanya, then getting to Antalya airport and told we were now being bumped to the Myra 2* apart hotel in Side we were a bit miffed to say the least ! At first look at room after a few hours kip we realised it wasnt self catering as requested and being on ground floor our balcony was literally in the open breakfast room area, requested to be moved and after a couple of hours got a much nicer room just across the hall, still not... more

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Family run, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The kids loved it with its two pools and menagerie of animals including a very friendly dog, rabbits, chickens a tortoise and turtles and voted it the best hotel they had stayed at. There is a free bus from the hotel to the nearby beach, which boasts watersports, a reasonably cafe and very clean toilet and shower facilities. It is ideal apart &hotel for everyone. lf you like silent and need fresh air you must stay there.The Myra Apart offers great service, the hotel staff are really kind and are always on hand to help you out. The bar staff especially the main barmate called shefika, she is really helpful,always smiling and up for a laugh, she always offers excellent service during my stay. booked this holiday through thomas cook!! do not believe anything they say about this hotel!! It is totally unsuitable for families! In the middle of nowhere and nobody not even the turkish people knew where it was! the family are totally unhelpful and nobody speaks any english! The thomas cook rep denise was a waste of space! overall....the worst holiday i've ever taken! I am looking to be compensated it was that bad!
