Eftelya Apart Hotel

This was mine and my boyfriends first time to Turkey and the staff at eftelya Apart Hotel Made are holiday fantastic nothing was to much hassle they was always willing to help, The Apartment was clean and tidy with clean towels and bedding changed regular. Beautiful views from the apartment windows and balconies. This great hotel serves yummy food and drinks 24 hours. Local shops are a 5 to 10 min walk. To the left of the hotel is Fethiye which is about a 30 Minute walk or short bus ride away and to the right of the hotel is hisaronu were you will find all them little special something for your loved ones back home. Myself and my boyfriend would like to Thank Yilmaz and deano and the rest of the staff at eftelya apart hotel for a wonderful holiday and we will be returning in the near future.

it says full kitchen...just 2 electric hobs 2.. large pans ..just ,,,,,,no equipment to cook with..but they didnt want you to cook ,need you spend money at there restraunt....to pay for toliet rolls air condition....cleaned once a week.....a few customer complained of bar bills as they seem to add a bit on change prices all time,,,,was very freindly when spending money...worst hotel ihave stayed in...would not recomend

our stay here was fantastic and the staff well were special ! the rooms were nice and clean and the pool kept nice and clean. if you eat there the food was great and we enjoyed all the food we ordered, i had the chefs chicken special a few times and it was very tasty . the entertainment was great we had some really good times with the staff, they made us feel really welcome, they all love kids and they all loved them back. we will be going back this year.

told on arrival that we had no booking even though a letter addressed to me was visible on the reception desk. placed in a filthy one bed apartment with broken loo seat and faeces on the pedal bin.Lived out of our cases for 2 days until we finally got the 2 bed apartment we had booked, apparently a turkish family using the room kept extending their holiday and were given priority over us. second apartment was fine but then the harrasment started with Deeno, bar manager, trying to physically direct us to tables to eat when we were attempting to leave the building to go to a resteraunt. He had previously introduced himself to my 18yr old daughter by placing his hand on her thigh and inviting her into his candy garden.Deeno, the owner Ilmas & Duran a general assistant were frequently rude,aggresive & sarcastic toward us. We dreaded entering or leaving by the bar(the only source of access) as this behaviour was a daily occurance which ruined our holiday. Complaints to our rep were a waste of time as he was a good friend of the owner. The final insult was when the late check out room that had been gauranteed by the rep was refused and we were evicted from the building at 12midday, although our transfere was not unitl 6pm. The manager said he did not want us in his hotel as we had not spent enough money there, we were told we should have eaten there at least three times during our holiday(so much for self catering) We walked the streets like three bag ladies but thankfully the staff of the Green Valley apartments a 15min walk away gave us a room and use of their own facilities for the rest of the day. Other holiday makers could not believe how we were treat and ate and drank at the bar reluctantley to prevent the same treatment towards themselves.. It is my belief that as very few people ate or drank at the bar the staff took out their frustrations on three woman travelling without the company of a man, which made us an easy target.

I have been visiting Turkey for at least 20 years and this apartment/hotel rates as one of the worst! I have always found Turkish people to be most hospitable and they always go out of their way to ensure your holiday is an enjoyable one. Not so at this hotel....if anyone going to Turkey for the first time stays at this hotel I'm almost sure they would never visit again. Note to Turkish Tourist Board...Do not use this hotel or its staff to promote Turkey! The staff were rude and aggressive - particularly Deano who constantly harassed us to spend money at the bar or on food. It took them 2 days to allocate us the apartment we had paid for - they had rented it to a Turkish family! Our room was never cleaned during our entire stay, no clean sheets or towels (we had to ask for them). They constantly played very loud boom boom music throughout the day and well into the early hours of the morning. We were asked to leave on our final day simply because we didn't spend any money at the bar - I was told by the owner that he had a £25k mortgage to pay for and he had to make money as we weren't spending any he wanted us to leave and never come back! Personally I don't think the owner will be in business for very long. He has absolutely no idea how to conduct a business, how to treat his PAYING guests and thinks the English owe him a living. A complete k...head. I love the Hisaronu area and this was my sixth visit. Everyone who I have met has been helpful and kind, welcoming and hospitable apart from the hotel idiots. Olu Deniz has the perfect beach I'd recommend a visit to Sugar Beach...idyllic.

this is the worst hotel i have stayed in ,and i have been going to turkey for 15 years,the staff were obnoxious,and offensive,the appartment was a hovel,and dirty,we were self catering,no kettle for 2 days,water went off,electricity went off,sockets on the wall came away when you tryed to unplug stuff from them,the bedding was changed once in 2 weeks and it still had marks on the covers when they were changed,the pool was filthy due to the fact people were swimming in it at night with there clothes on,and the staff never bothered,as long as people were spending money at the bar,the bar manager was a guy called deeno,and all he was intrested in was getting you to buy drink and food,he was a horrible person,me and my wife could not sleep at night due to them playing loud thumping music late into the night,take my word ,,you do not want to go there,be warned,,,,

These apartments are in a beautiful part of ovacik,with wonderful views of the Babadag mountains. the apartments where very well maintained to the extent it looks like a brand new buliding, rooms are beautifully equipped with everything you could ever need! the menu is extensive from pizza to a full english breakfast,and we found it to be cheaper and of better quality to the food served in nearby resturants. Nightlife brilliant Ovacik is the centre resort with Fethyie to the left and to the right Hisaronu, Hisaronu is a short ten minute walk or a taxi ride for under a fiver!lovely safe and friendly town with all the bars and clubs open all night. The local beach is Olu Deniz which is world famous! it is breath takingly beautiful, white sand and the sea is turquoise blue amazing, check it out online! the island boat trips from here are fab!and at £10 with lunch stopping off to swim in the sea at different islands one more beautiful than the other.

Both myself and my fiancé spent what seemed like a very short week at the Eftelya Apartments in August 2008. We both had an amazing time the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome and part of the Eftelya family. Great for couples and Families wishing to stay away the hustle and bustle of city life in a relaxing and chilled out environment. Also perfect for the party animals among us with very close by there is Fethiye in one direction and Hisaronu in the other The Hotel Entertainment provided was first class! (Great Fun) The hotel provided a free bus shuttle to a small private beach in Olu Deniz. You can also take the local bus to the Blue Lagoon which takes about 10 minutes by bus. We've already recommended this hotel to all our friends and family, Thanks to all the team for making this a fabulous holiday! See you all next year.

Had a great time here . the apartment were spotlessly clean and spacious with good facilities . The staff were brilliant and very helpful . the food and entertainment were very good too . . I would recommend this place to anyone . It has beautiful surroundings and is only a 5 minute bus ride to the resort of Hiaronu ., were all the shops bars and resaurants are . We had a great time and will be returning some time in the near future

If you want to be welcomed to turkey DONT GO THERE TO EFTELYA APART INN.Arrived at 4.00am we were put in a stinking attic room unitl 12.00 midday until our apartment was ready. The turkish family that run this place could not care less or even be bothered ro serve you a beer, or make a coffee,everything was a problem to them,the barman/handyman slept in a hammock at the pool,we had to interrupt their breakfast,lunch,dinner all the time to get anything from the bar. The pool was so cloudy and dirty that people were getting sore throats and sore stomachs.The filters were not working in the pool.We paid for air/con £14.00 per week but it never worked.we asked why it was not working they laughed and said it was a voltage problem, and just shrugged their shoulders.asked to get a light in the kitchen area changed, they just laughed again and said it was not working, end of story!! We felt we were intruding into their lives here as they all stayed in apartments at the place and slept on sunbeds at night!! Please don't book this place you have been warned. We moved hotels after 1 week and stayed at another beautiful place down the hill in ovacik. We have been to turkey 8 times, and this is the worst experience we have ever had, the owners seem to think they are doing us a favour by letting us stay there. WE ARE THE ONES BRINGING THOUSANDS OF POUNDS INTO THE TURKISH ECONOMY AND MONEY INTO THE REGION AND IF THE TURKISH PEOPLE THINK WE WILL ACCEPT ANYTHING NOW BECAUSE OF THE DROP IN THE EURO RATE, THEY WILL FIND THAT PEOPLE WILL NOT COME BACK. AND WILL GO ELSEWHERE TO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY and get some comfort on our holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
