we had a fab holiday the only reason i haven't rated it 10/10 is because for the first 2 nights we had to stay in the hotel up the road, which was a pain, as they said they had overbooked.
This seems to be a common problem with this hotel, our compensation was a free safe and 30 euros.
The plus side to this was that for the 11 nights we were there we used the facilities if both hotels as we had a wrist band for each!!!
Entertainment 10/10
food nice had something for all the family.
rooms clean.
staff friendly apart from the manager who was not helpful when we were complaining of being moved elsewhere!!
Private beach lovely, fish eat bread from ankle deep waters, pleantly of chances of crabbing and catching fish.
Other two beaches lovely and clean.
there is only a few bars/resturants but entertainment in hotel that good we only went out at night when we watched England play.
we are 25 and our child is 3 and this was a fantastic holiday for us.
Some people say its hilly yes it is but if your fit and healthy this should not bother you, its not too bad, there are steps up from private beach and bank from centre to hotel but like i say if your pritty healthy this should not be a problem.
The other dissapointment was that ice cream was not available untill 12pm and no snacks available late at night for children, apart from chocalate out of a machine.

Just back from our 3rd visit to Club Portinatx and had yet another fantastic holiday. The hotel is very family friendly and ideal for us with kids aged 16 and 7. There are activities for all ages of kids and for adults alike. Rifle Shooting, Darts, Kayacking, Mountain Biking, T-shirt painting, Volleyball, Football, Archery to name a few. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious with clean towels daily if required and beds changed weekly. Two pools and one small pool for toddlers with a climbing frame play area alongside. The restuarant serves a variety of fresh dishes with some dishes being cooked in front of you each night. Breakfasts include continental and cooked options as well as fruit, cereals and yoghurt. The drinks are varied and plentiful and include spirits, beer, wine, sangria and cocktails as well as many non-alcoholic options. The animation team are absolutely fantastic and work extremely hard from morning till night and are the best I have seen anywhere! The staff are friendly and helpful and even the 1 or 2 bar staff who are a bit
less so mellow if you put in a bit of effort and use a few Spanish words....! Portinatx is a beautiful part of Ibiza and we will continue to return to Club Portinatx.

Just over 7 days to go till we are back again 3rd time, animation team superb and very friendly, rooms cleaned daily , food superb. Notice few comments saying cocktails pre-made ? not any I had, made as you wait, someone mentioned broken sunbeds I broke one myself (too much food I expect) hilly yes it is I'm disabled/mobility walking and managed the 40 odd steps to beach. Champ in few shooting comps very funny have practised that and darts again for this year. Shows at night brill the team put in loads of hard work having fun and making it professional . Oliver and EDU can pull some faces and nothing is too much bother. Oliver even gave me lift up hill last year to save me the walk, cant wait to see them again and kids? once there we only saw ours at night when they were tired out.... Coming soon cant wait

Well once again we stayed at the Club Portinatx and found it just as good as last year. Entertainment by Oliver and crew was just as good, kept the kids happy. Food was a good standard and varied. Eat drink and be merry. Only found the private bay with a few jelly fish in it once. Kyacs and wind surfing boards are new. Maids in every day to clean and tidy, change towels if needed etc. All in all an enjoyable holiday. Just a note for the elderly or infirm. Because of the terraine and location, this would not be a very accessible resort. The private beach is accessed down 3 sets of steep steps and can be quite exausting. It's unfortunate that the cattle rush for sun beds still is in existance, the crowd getting up at 07.30 to grab them.Again I saw beds that had been towelled, NOT being used atall all day!!!

This was the first all inclusive holiday I've been on and I had high expectations based on the reviews and was thoroughly disappointed. On arrival, we were told that they had 'overbooked' the hotel and that we would have to stop in the hotel across the road for a night. Our compensation? 30 euros and a free safe, which seemed to be their standard compensation (we weren't the only ones who were moved!)
There is a good choice of food, and if you like your food bland with non-descript meat then it's right up your street. The snack bar is outside and always had flies around it - if I never saw another ham and cheese toastie in my life I'd be happy.
The rooms are clean, spacious and I couldn't fault the maid service at all. The drinks choice is great and available for 14 hours per day.
I had mixed views on the entertainment, some of the nights were good, others (usually the ones that involved miming over musicals) didn't appeal to me or my partner (we are in our early/mid 20's).
Portinatx however is beautiful, with some great bars and restaurants.

Great location but was on floor 10. No lift and treacherous conditions. Pools too small and food pretty grim. The most unpleasant receptionist i've come across., although other staff were fine.
Please avoid if you don't live walking up steep steps and slopes to your room. Saw several people with bandages.
This place needs a decent management team. Very disappointing.

Just came back from this lovely hotel in Portinaxt,Ibiza,we had seven wonderful days with absolutly no complaints whatsoever,(although i did see one or two english/German people shaking their heads purely because the barstaff didnt jump to attention when they went to the bar!!just have to wait their turn im afraid!!)LOL,Animation team were fantastic and very helpful,(and very talented)reception were extremely helpful, barstaff very efficient and friendly if you tried to show some degree of patience!!,and the food was lovely and cooked as you waited ,which wasnt very long at all, safe in your room for just 15 euros ,so no prob with that side of things,be aware though the walking needs a degree of fitness levels, but youll need it to walk off the food!! we have been to many all inc all over europe inc croatia, but this one is by far the best, entertainment is superb..highly recommended.

We went on a last minute deal and had an amazing time and would love to go back again!!! Excellent value for money and we would recommend this place.
The room was a little dated but it was huge and cleaned every day.
The food was lovely and we couldn't fault it.
The entertainers worked really hard and put on a good show. Our daughter had a great time at the kids club.
We cannot understand why anyone would have a bad word to say about this place, we had a great holiday with great people!!!!
Thankyou
