I spent one week at Oasis Apartments in sept 2011, with my husband. We booked with Olympic I've never ever complained about a holiday before but this was hell. i feel like I have to say something. we arrived at the apartment at 3am "reception" was closed and was not greated by anyone found the room key outside so we had no access to a drink after been delayed by the flight for two hours. when we entered the room it was clean and very basic.we have found a half a toilet role in the bathroom and was never replaced so we just had to buy it for the rest of the holiday. Bedding changed once a week i.e NEVER if you stay one week. So you're in a room in 30 degree heat and your sheets are changed once a week! Complete joke. then there was our rep (no idea who it was) - who was so dreadful rude and ignorant.he never introduced him self or never there to help he has got no idea on how to do the job. I think he was treating his job more like a holiday. the oasis appartment advertised a BBQ night for 10 euros each including a greek live music and greek dancing we all went it was bout 36 of us we all got BBQ meat salad and chips but it was no music or dancing or intertament. Luke the rep was his Bday and he invited all his m8 they came and eat for free and joked and entertaned them selve ignored all the paying guests it was terrible. On the flip side KOS is amazing!! We cycled everywhere ate at some amazing local restaurants Serif in Platani, Ambeli in Tigaki, Mammy's in Kos Town. Just wonderful. Would I go back to Kos? Of course. Would I go back to Oasis? haha, nope.

Compared to other 2* apartments in Greece, at least Oasis has a pool. Very basic, rooms and bathrooms are in need of updating, equipment for self-catering sparse, odd cups odd plates odd glasses.Bar prices high ,a can of cider 4euros,food not bad.We feel if this place was smartened up it could reach 3*s

We stayed at Oasis for just 1 week & that was more than enough. The rooms are very basic and the bathroom was in quite a bad way for example when we washed our hands we also found ourselves washing our feet because the waste fitting under the sink was leaking. For hygeine i would give it 2 out of 10. Swimming Pool was clean and food was ok nothing exciting, but found staff slightly arrogant. All of the other guests we spoke with said they believed at the time of booking that they had bagged a good last minute deal and were very disappointed and going to complain as we all felt slightly cheated, not value for money at all more like a complete and utter rip off. But in terms of the Island we found it very nice and Kos Town was beautiful as are some of the beaches, we highly recommend visiting Tigaki. We would visit the Island again but would not stay here again.

I stayed with my partner at the Oasis apartments in Kos Town in July 2011. We booked the holiday as a last minute deal and were horrified to read all of the bad reviews. When we arrived at the Oasis apartments staff were friendly and the apartment was clean, basic and comfortable. We basically got what we paid for. The pool area was clean, had plenty of sunbeds and the bar was just a small walk away. The food from the bar area was cheap and nice to eat. Everybody at the Kos apartments are friendly and talk to each other which creates a lovely sociable atmosphere. There is entertainment at the apartments twice a week, a singer on a thursday and BBQ PARTY on the Monday. I recommend the BBQ PARTY it is 10 euros per person but it is a great night with games and greek dancing!! However their are daily things to do from the Holiday rep Luke and the information for this is on the notice board and the welcome session. The location of the apartment is an half an hour walk from Kos town centre, with buses/taxes available near by. My partner and i throughly enjoyed our stay at the Oasis apartments and would recommend people to stay here as a last minute deal as it is really not as negative as people have made out. If you have any requests for anything during your stay the staff are always happy to help.

Just returned from Kos, we had a lovley week at Oasis, our apartment was typically Greece basic but very clean. Bedding and towels were regularly changed & apartment cleaned. Food was reasonably priced & of good standard in the restaurant. The shop had everything you need but we felt was over priced. The staff were friendly, hard working & helpful. The pool was a good size, cool, clean & very inviting. Although Oasis was a little far out from Kos town, bikes were available to hire & taxi's could be booked by the staff for you. Our rep Luke was very helpful & good fun. The weather was amazing, not a cloud in the sky all week. All in all everything you need for a great week away.

We had a good deal for this hotel, we booked and just after we saw all the bad reviews... we were so disappointed!
Finally it was a really good surprise: clean, simple but nice studio, good staff and a perfect place to relax.
It is situated in the countryside so if your objective is to go in Kos for parties it's not for you. I could advice to rent a bike (25€ for two weeks) it is the best solution to go in town or to the beach. If you choose this option don't take the speed way suggested in the brochure but the road along the beach, it is beautiful and there is a cycle track.

The Oasis Apartments has to be the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. Everything is just so chilled out and everyone seems to get along fine. The staff are brilliant great at speaking English and are very friendly. The room was great too. Very clean indeed. I would like to thank the maids for the hard effort they have put into the cleaning.
Supply's at the appertments were great. We were happy with the mini market as it had all the stuff we needed to last the two weeks we were there.
The pool was perfect. Nice and cold for when you got to hot and the fact that it was slap bang in the middle was good as it lit up and looked amazing at night time.
I hate to see all these negative comments this is not how I see Oasis at all. Over all I think Oasis is Excellent and we will be coming back next year too :-).
A big thank you to our rep Luke. A very helpful and down to earth lad with a great sense of humour. Hope to see you again Luke!
Thank you so much for a great holiday Oasis & Olympic.

We arrived at Oasis apartments on the 13TH July early hour's in the morning, on arrival we were allocated our room's, Once we got in it was clean, clean sheets, clean bathroom, the rooms were very basic but you get what you pay for.
It's very friendly around the complex, everyone makes the effort to speak to eachother and get along. the staff are very helpfull if you have any questions or need something doing.
Kos town is about a 45 minute walk, We hired bikes most days to get down to the town as it's a much easier option. We walked to the nearest beach which took us around 20 minutes. Taxi's are also available around the island, from Oasis to the town it's 8 Euros. There is also an option to get a bus which they come every hour.
One problem we found around the apartment's were Bee's, I was sat on the wall outside my apartment and a bee fell on my leg and stung me, a second later another bee dropped on the floor, two days later our next door neighbour got stung on the foot by one so WEAR FLIP FLOPS around the apartment area.
Oasis also have a restaurant with reasonable prices, I paid 4 euros 50 for a burger and chips, much cheaper than eating out in town !

Oasis Apartments, Kos Town.
I was unfortunate enough to have stayed at this filthy place, if they were to give Kos an enema this is where they would stick the pipe!
The apartment was dirty and full of cockroaches which were most prevalent in the shower room, but at night would swarm into the living space, the beds were wooden framed with slats and placed on top a mattress that was stained, being was well past its best and looking like left over from the WW11.
The pillows when removed from the pillow case were black with mildewed cultures still growing on them, again smelt matching the mattress.
The pool had a thick tide mark of grease around the edges were eons of suntan lotion had accumulated and were never cleaned off.
At night you were treated to the sound of barking Great Dane’s which also left their mark around the complex, having to watch your step.
When complaining to the owner about the condition of the above he was rude, unhelpful and arrogant.
I complain as did many others to the holiday rep and after 2 days of hell, re-situated at Sandy’s Apts the difference being a 90 per cent improvement.
What advice would you give fellow travelers visiting Kos Town to best enjoy the destination?
Pay extra for a good hotel, Kos is a beautiful place and makes for a great holiday destination.

This place is a disgrace. Olympic Holidays are STILL headlining it 'KOS TOWN' even in the location bit it actually says 'location Kos Town'. IT IS MILES AWAY FROM ANYTHING. The rep will point out that theyt tell you in the brochure about the 20 min walk to bars etc. It does not however mention the 4 lane dual carriageway you have to cross to get there!!.
As for the rooms they are beyond awful. Dirty, stained, cracked glass panels, cracked tiles very dangerous kettle lead and exposed lighting wires. The fridge door didn't close.
It should be knocked down.
I can't rate it zero so I have to give it one which it does not deserve.
Oh and the owner is a rude ignorant money grabber. Not your usual Greek who likes to help you. He thought my attempts at Greek were worthy of mockery. Thanks for nothing.

Do not listen to all the bad reviews, this holiday was everything i hoped it would be. The pool is cleaned out every night, with enough sun loungers during the day and is not over crowded. The food wasn't amazing, but bacon sandwhiches and burgers were fine for us as the price we paid. The owners are VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE, and the DOGS ARE NO TROUBLE AT ALL, in fact 1 is kept in its own hut, and the other is a little dog, (yorkshire terrier?) and is adorable! The owners are kind, funny people with a sarcastic nature, this is obvious from the first day. Joke with them, they will joke back. Me and my partner were given free drinks (dissaronno and coke) just because we got on so well. One night i was taken ill and ended up in the hospital, and the main owner did more than enough, even offering to come to the hospital with us and i was completly fussed over the next day. I wont deny there are plenty of insects, but what can you expect? but in my week there, i only saw 1 cockroach outside our apartment, the bigger problem was ants, but even the cleaning lady was a lovely bubbly greek woman. BAD REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE ARE FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE ANGRY WITH THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEY CANT AFFORD THE 5* ALL INCLUSIVE THEY OBVIOUSLY WISH TO SEE.
